ta daaaaaaaaah i told you i'd actually finish it
lol i thought this was gonna take me liek a week XP
click download to get the zip file with a bunch of WIP renders, wireframe/clay etc, i think "second render" look cool
...
i did this cause i went back to Kingdom Hearts 2 but this time in proud mode, and i miss my ultima keyblade D:
and it looks freaking awesome
for those who don't know (shame on you), keyblades are the weapon used by the chosen one (aka hero/ur character), Sora, in the Kingdom Hearts series, they can be used to kill badstuffies and lock/unlock pretty much everything, including the "hearts" of the worlds and rountes that allow you to travel between worlds, which is otherwise impossible
im not sure if they can open the ultimate lock: pickle jars
ultima has also been te name of the most powerful equippable weapon in a series of games by square enix (which makes freaking awesome games)

exported to 3DS for scene setup

lol. Advice I once recieved about drawing: If you want to learn to draw something well, study drawings of it done by people who obsess over it. Ex: To learn how to draw feet, look at art by people with foot fetishes.

well that's odd, everyone i've asked and everywhere i've read, it says that you should learn drawing from photos or watching subjects, taht way you develop your own style rather than subconsciously trying to match someone else's

well i guess its fine if it's realistic drawing since it's pretty much the same as looking at pictures or real life, the problem comes with some types of animu or toon styled stuff, at least the less generic ones, since they are more distinctive :/
