Description
I went back to my artistic roots with this image.I haven't done one in a while, dispite drawing marine fantasy art for over a decade. I don't upload as much of it as I used to. But considering how life's been over the last half year, it just felt right that the first real pic' that I got done would be something like this. I consider it finished, therefore I will not be altering nor changing anything in it.
I guess I'll get back to my other stuff sometime, when I'm ready.

This piece is stunning. Going through your gallery, I somehow had stumbled over this and missed it, but when I saw I just HAD to fave an comment.
The colors are gorgeous, and the shockingly-realistic detail you put into it is outstanding. Most of the time when I see someone showing a jumping or breaching dolphin, they don't show the detail of rubbery skin that was once wet hit the air, but you showed this with beautiful reflections off the hide. The starry sky stuns me the most, the moon blending into a crescent and yet standing out with that eerie glow.
Beautiful

Wow, that has got to be one of the most beautiful things I've seen in a long time. Thank you so much for adding the mantas... don't see them very much.

There are manta rays in the backgrond. : )
Reminds me of Ecco the Dolphin... without the shark! : P
Why is critique discouraged by the way.
Do you honestly think that there would be someone that would say bad stuff about this picture? ^-^

You are an artist who will be remembered for years for beauty like this.
And this is one of my least favorite types of art. And yet I love it.

Nice work. Reminds me of the first level from that old Ecco, on Sega CD, where all those dolphins are like chillin', then, that big whirl thingy.... Ahh, the sweet memories.
