I went back to my artistic roots with this image.I haven't done one in a while, dispite drawing marine fantasy art for over a decade. I don't upload as much of it as I used to. But considering how life's been over the last half year, it just felt right that the first real pic' that I got done would be something like this. I consider it finished, therefore I will not be altering nor changing anything in it.
I guess I'll get back to my other stuff sometime, when I'm ready.

Personally, i think your marine paintings are among the best I've ever seen. I found your SwiftCurrent page a while back and got to see some things that I thought looked like some of the dolphin calender art thats been floating around. I just like the whole feeling and emotion that these things posses. I can just sit back and, look and one of these pieces and "fall" into it.
I can just imagin what one of these would look like as a mural on a musium or school...

Very wonderful! It reminds me of this big clock that was in my bedroom as a child. It had similar art work. Was this inspired by that artist, or are you the same artist that did a similar piece many years ago?

Stating that you haven't done something like this in over a decade only reminds me that you've been an artist almost twice the length of my mortal life.

One thing I admire about your newest instalment is the casting of Earth creatures on another planet, plus with the spectacular backdrop makes it feel all the more magical.
Giving it an odd-world quality by adding the planet in the sky reminds me of a painting in an issue of National Geographic, talking about the study, research, and exploration of distant planets; it was a seascape of a ocean formed from melted ice, on a moon orbiting a ringed gas-giant. I wouldn't know if you've seen it or not, but the view protrayed was none the less breath-taking; not unlike the landscapes from both Halo and Halo 2.

That's just gorgeous. I really love the sense of environment and space you create, and darn I love that water dolphin. ;_; For whatever reason I really, really like the underwater background too - especially the mantas, but that could be that I just had a weird dream involving some of those. XD Awesome art!

It looks like the Dolphin out of the water is becoming part of the night sky while those underwater are illuminated like it was day time. Quite impressive. *claps*
