Yeah.. yeah... I know. Old School. Big time.Just a little bit of completely random fan art. I used to be completely obsessed with the Sonic the Hedgehog games for Genesis/Master System. Tails being my favorite character of all time. (Though I hate what they did to the characters when they moved onto the Dreamcast etc.)
Oh, and the setting is supposed to be Hydro City (from Sonic 3).

You gotta love the old-school Sonic games. Especially Tails, he's the best.
I like the Hydrocity setting and the colors are really nice. The rings and piranha are a nice touch too. Good stuff.

the Dreamcast sonic and bunch will never compare to the glory that is the Genesis versions. it's old school, but it still rocks, and i have every sonic made for the Genesis. i LOVE this fanart.

I think you've inspired me to try and draw Sonic and/or Tails again. Hasn't been done in a long time.
Oh, and a piece of random information: My school's R&B (Rhythm and Blues) Project played a themesong from Sonic 2. You know the second level, Chemical Plant? They played that themesong with trumpets, guitars, bass, drums, saxes and clarinets and made it sound awesome! I'm so proud of that group... they're going to the Jazzfest in Quebec next year!

Whoa. This is TOTALLY oldschool. In fact, I'm delighted to see one of my favorite old games brought to life! I knew it was Hydrocity the instant I saw it. (And that level was sure a lot easier as Tails. XD)

Definetely old school. The first drawing I ever did was Knuckles the Echidna. I was drawing Sonic before I could draw anything else. xD

Ah! This level sucked. Haha, I hated water levels cause I would always drown. Like in zone 2 where you had to beat the thing thing at the beginning without being squished or drowned, very nerve-wracking. Oooh the memories. But yeah, awesome piece!
