Not to be picky here.
But ABPT's and AmStaff's are not the save, AmStaffs are the more aggresive of the two, but I agree with you. I own dogs of my own, They are on my page, check them out. My adorable little BABies who wouldn;t hurt anyone..or even try to.

I'm SO with you on this. I work at an animal shelter, and we get so many pitts... they're usually the sweetest dogs, but people take one look and the breed and go right past them. It's sad.

Yeah, I know. I keep an eye on the Toronto Humane Society's website and view their list of dogs up for adoption and nearly 90% are Pits, Staffies, or crosses of either. It's so sad.
If I could, I'd adopt every last one of 'em. I'd get a Staff' or a Pit' before any other breed of dog.
(But then, I've actually done research on the breed too, and not let my vewipoint be clouded by media-induced paranoia.)
