Description
Lady Fairplay was a minor Golden Age character. She only had three appearances in Bang-Up Comics from from the very short lived Progressive Publications. Real name Mary Lee, this school teacher got her powers from a Mad Scientist's experiment, and became the self declared "Goddess of Chastisement" (which could be taken soooo wrong to modern ears)Related content

That seems to be the case for a lot of them.
In her case, her alter ego offers perhaps an above-average opportunity for bad puns: teachimg the crims a lesson, leaving the villains outclassed, assessing them and giving them a failing grade, etc, etc ...
