Description This is an original Popeye sketch card. It's 2 1/2" X 3 1/2", and I drew it in Faber Castell Pitt pen and Prismacolor pencils, on my own card stock. It's a one of a kind piece, and I'm selling it for $50 plus shipping at my online store if anyone's interested. You can visit it here [link] .

Jay, you draw an EPIC Popeye- if there's ever a comic company interested in rebooting the character for a new series, they should get you ASAP

I appreciate it. I actually just drew five Popeye sketch cards for a charity auction in Chicago, and I'll be posting them on DA soon!

your style suits this comic/cartoon/restaurant/merchandising empire. I remember trying very hard and failing miserably at imitating his laugh.

He yis what he yis.

If Universal or whoever decides to do a Popeye comic book or something, you should be the first guy they turn to!
