Started watching Fullmetal Alchemist last month from a recommendation of my buddy. It creeps me out at times (especially because I decided to watch it with my mom... not the best life decision ) but it's interesting. I wanted to draw some repliroid chimera ever since the first episode, but I just broke on the seventh one two days ago... and I did this.

Maybe not a whole lot of people knows, but I'm working on my What-If project called "Rockman X: The Animation" (called here as "X: The Animation IF" in order to fit the full name of a chimera) where I try to adapt entire X-series story (minus Command Mission, but that might be a spin-off of a project for another day) into an anime. The project has some differences to the sourse material because... Japan likes making different canons for adaptations, which is interesting, I guess.

X6's adaptation will focus on the state of the world after Eurasia's crash and how shitty everyone became after that in order to survive. Gate still tries to build a nation for the strongest repliroids but the Nightmare Investigators here are a bit too passionate about their jobs and hobbies in there. They just use the old rotting world as a testing grounds for basically everything. Where Gate's ideal utopia would've been built is unknown, however, but he wasn't really against watching this whole world burn.

Metalshark Prayer is one of the Nightmare Invistigators whose job was finding the way of resurrecting the deceased repliroids perfectly (something that will get forbidden after Zero and Sigma's comebacks in X2's adaptation, although the full-on resurrection was still out of reach for scientists in the following years). He got the way to get the souls of dead repliroids back from the Cyberspace (managing to get only three at the time of this experiment) and started to play around with them. Prayer eventually went even more crazy and got carried away, combining Sting Chameleao, Mange Hyakulegger and Explose Horneck's DNA Souls into a chimera that was held together by the energy from Energen Crystals, repliroid blood and the power of three souls fusing against their will (because, much like the viruses, DNA Souls have a 'volition' even outside of their main bodies). It's almost unkillable as it can regenerate its body really quickly (thanks to some Metalshark Prayer's black magic, I guess). The only way to defeat it will be ripping its heart out while it's regenerating after a strong blow which X will do in the end of the fight after Prayer's manipulation tactics fail completely as the blue hunter truly valued the life expressing his anger on how no one, not even an Irregular, deserves the second chance like this and that, even if the real resurrection will become a thing, the ability to live forever and to be unkillable will devalue the whole life paradoxically and it will only bring more chaos upon this poor world.

Prayer will eventually start to fight against hunters (Zero met Prayer as well), only to get eliminated by HI-MAX (which got sent by Gate because the shark repliroid started to deviate way too much from the original intention of actually resurrecting the deceased and not making an unholy abominations of them that were not even the ultimate unbeatable repliroids his new nation was for).

OK, I should explain why Chimera looks like this.

It has the heads of three deceased repliroids Metalshark Prayer uses in the boss fight (Chameleao's head is for speaking with a very fuzzy, almost an old record player like voice of all three of them; Hyakulegger's (Centipede's) head is for thinking; Horneck's (Hornet's) head is for seeing (even if it only has one eye working)), a bottom of Horneck with two pairs of legs (one pair is a mix of Horneck and Hyakulegger's legs, the other is just Chameleao's legs), a chest of Chameleao with two pairs of arms (the higher ones are his own arms, but the bottom are slightly modified Horneck and Hyakulegger's arms), and a tail of Hyakulegger that comes out of the backspine. Chameleao's tongue is tied to Horneck's shoulderpad as Chimera can't keep it in its mouth fully, but it can still be used to attack. The whole thing also has Gate's trademark crystals all around its body that are helping its blood flow (those wierd patterns are the blood veins, yes, but they're colored in sky blue color because of Prayer's powers and Energen Crystals', well, energy). StingMagneExplose Chimera also can use the three Irregulars' skills but it needs to eat Energen Crystals once per an hour to refill its energy.

Chimera also had its blood dripping from everywhere but I thought that it already looked freaky so i decided against it. I don't want to create my sleep paralysis demon.
