I think the father is being too much on the dragon kid...he slams his hands on the table frightening the both of them. Like what if the dragons parents died and he ran away from home because of that huh? He should at least sit down, and talk to him calmly like "Okay what really happened and what can i do to help you?" Talk to the kid gently-*old man.* sheesh. Or maybe he over reacted to much, and that's why maybe he couldn't think properly. The story is really good so far. I'm liking this

Yes Roders is a stern parent. But he's stern because the thought of a child being alone in a dangerous world scares him because he doesn't want them to get hurt. I feel like I would probably be the same if I was a parent. xD

The-Red-Devils In reply to Jblask [2018-03-04 08:13:47 +0000 UTC]

Yeah i know. I was thinking about that too, how if a parent is worried they will tend to yell. Or put their foot down. But sometimes you'd have to listen to them and understand how they are feeling. I learn that from Super nanny, every child has a voice opinion. So when you do decide to become a parent, remember that.

Jblask In reply to The-Red-Devils [2018-03-04 16:28:04 +0000 UTC]

I don't know if Aesk really realizes. He's only a kid and doesn't understand the big picture so he probably just feels like he's being yelled at...

The-Red-Devils In reply to Jblask [2018-03-05 02:03:21 +0000 UTC]

Children though...even though they may not understand what's really the situation is all about. But they....in front of their eyes see what their parents are feeling if they are sad or angry, if someone is right at you're face yelling at you. Would you flinch? If they can see from their body language what they look like, like angry they would appear big, threatening towards them.

If they are depressed they would see their parents, you know, feeling down, they would be sitting at their couch with their head down or curled up into a little ball, and being a little child would make you curious or concerned about them in a way. And ask them "Are you okay?" You know they may not know much, as you say. But i'm saying that you know, in front of their eyes they can see what's happening, and get emotions from them. You see?

This can be in both ways. Cause i can see, Aesk the little dragon getting frightened because his "Father" slammed his paws down on the desk. And he flinched. I can see that. And i can understand why, he's frightened. Cause his "Father" looks angry. Looks threatening, and you see that "Confused" look on his face? He's feeling something from him. And he's feeling concerned. And knows that somethings up. You see?

You're right! I'm glad it's clear on aesk's face that he's scared and shocked that someone who was nice to him earlier is no angry and yelling.

yeah it's because Dog dad see's Aesk as like his own child and he's scared for him. The way he shows it is harsh but he still cares.

Well he's a parent who has a daughter so I get that he cares but I also think maybe there's a reason behind his outburst maybe a back story.
Also This is awesome I hope you keep making these by the way

Emily-Young [2017-09-26 21:04:35 +0000 UTC]

Not really...Because the Dad might not have any idea what Aesk has gone through, or why he did it. So jumping to conclusions at this point, (To a child no less) may not be the best option. Of course, the Dad may have a reason for his outburst like...Maybe the last time he left his wife alone she got killed, so now he's worried about anyone being left alone for to long..Especially, children like Aesk.Β

That's a pretty good statement. You feel like the both have their own reasons.

Emily-Young In reply to Jblask [2017-10-04 22:22:18 +0000 UTC]

I do. That's how I see things in the real world as well. While I sometimes struggle with understanding the views of others, over all, I know everyone's opinion and life is valid.Β Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jblask In reply to Emily-Young [2017-10-07 19:26:32 +0000 UTC]

That's definitely a very good view to have. There are many times where I fully believe myself tobe right and the other person wrong. but I guess in the end everyone reaches their own set of beliefs.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Emily-Young In reply to Jblask [2018-01-11 14:41:56 +0000 UTC]

That's very true. And everyone should be respected as a whole. Only then can we live in harmony with others.

So you're making your own Zelda game? How long do you think it will take?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Emily-Young In reply to Jblask [2018-01-13 13:08:47 +0000 UTC]

I really don't know..All I can do is come up with the storyboard and the things players will come across in the game. Tasks they may need to complete ect. However, getting it to function and be playable is where I will have issues. Meaning, I would have to ask other various volunteers to help with making it if I was going to.Β Β

Jblask In reply to Emily-Young [2018-01-13 15:42:56 +0000 UTC]

Aaah yeah that makes sense...

I was hoping I could ask you to put the lizalfos in it. XD XD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Emily-Young In reply to Jblask [2018-01-13 16:04:36 +0000 UTC]

That depends...In what way were you thinking? Apparently there areΒ lizalfos in the following Zelda games already:Β Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Breath of the Wild. The only game that doesn't seem to have them is Wind Waker..I suppose I could have someone add them to THAT Zelda world..

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Jblask In reply to Emily-Young [2018-01-13 21:09:13 +0000 UTC]

Β I dunno... I can design a unique species of them if you want.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Emily-Young In reply to Jblask [2018-01-14 14:25:07 +0000 UTC]

Lol! That would be cool! But for the Wind Waker they'd have to look a bit more cartoony...But other than that I'd love to see what you come up with. If you need anything for refs here's what some of the enemies look like in the world of Wind Waker. Β zelda.gamepedia.com/Enemies_in…

Also, do you have any programming experience? Or know someone who does? If I decide to make this fan game, I'll need programmers and such to help me do it. Currently, I'm trying to figure out if people would want one specific world, or all 3D Zelda worlds known to man. XD Then after I figure that out, I can work on some concept art, the story for each world, and the tasks players must complete in order to advance in each world that is within the game. Β
