Originally titled White vs Black But the "vs" part made me twitch...(yeesh, this was the very second pic I put in my scrap gallery all those years ago...ha)This is OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD!!
*points to signature at the bottom* This was drawn in 2003. over five years ago! X_x I think I had said I'd finish it in the summer of 04...man was I backlogged!
It was inspired by Midori-sama's lovely EnishixMisao fanfic, White Tiger, Jade Concubine from the Rurouni Kenshin fandom. I believe she updated it last year...(after a three or four year hiatus...)
Features white-haired vengeful Enishi Yukishiro, spunky Misao Makimachi, and serious Aoshi Shinomori.
Its' been on my computer for several years now, with a few missing details and a few alterations done along the way. What was done recently to complete it was the background, the top of Enishi and Aoshi's heads, and Enishi's sword. Last year I think I colored Aoshi's sword and finished highlighting Misao's outfit.
At any rate, it's done now. Thank God!
It's not perfect, no way. I see tons of errors. But I felt I should not try any advanced techniques on this or even alter it too much, and just keep it as a picture of the past, a testament to how far I've come (if at all...). I just wanted this picture to find some closure. Hope ya don't mind.

lol, thank you! Sorry for delay in response. Yeah, they do. Back then my style wasn't as developed. Though I still struggle to keep my male characters from looking the same. Well, what I did in this case to make them look different, was give Aoshi more narrow eyes, sharper features, since Enishi has bigger eyes and less sharp edges. Also Aoshi's hair is slick/shiny and thin, where Enishi's is puffy and full. I believe Aoshi is older than Enishi, so I always make him look older. Not to mention Aoshi's got one emotion whereas Enishi is more lively in his expressions. I still stick to that formula whenever I draw them, but I haven't drawn them in a long time, so who knows how they'd turn out now.
lol, thank you! And yes, they are a weird random group. It's part of my crack pairing series. I love making up and drawing crack pairings in fandom.
Ah, I'd love to, but I've so busy lately (and I got a horrible art block). But I will be posting old pictures of Enishi in the coming months, so keep an eye out for them.
