Description
Here's an entry in the Underwater Cuties of Toontown that ought to tickle the fancies of a couple of folks in my watchlist. suggested that I draw Phoebe from "Hey Arnold", though his idea for a scenario wasn't exactly canonical. Instead, I combined it with 's suggestion of Helga and came up with this. Those who watch "Hey Arnold" may remember the Season 4 episode "Love and Cheese", where Helga drags Phoebe all over the local Cheese Festival in an effort to sabotage Arnold and Lila's date. She stalks them everywhere from the bumper cars to the Tunnel of Love - and, in this scene, the dunk tank, trying desperately to eavesdrop on their conversation. Phoebe, of course, is less concerned about Arnold and more concerned about breathing...

Their hair looks so fluffy! The pool-type lighting looks really neat too.

I actually remember that. The Cheese Festival ones are some episodes that I actually happen to remember.
I also remember that part when they were peeking thru the fences to see who they'll be paired up with.
Just out of curiosity, how did you color Helga's hair outline there? Is there something on Photoshop you can use to do that sort of thing?

I basically just blocked off all the sections of the outline that intersect with the rest of her head or anything else, then colored the line orange. It's a simple MS Paint trick, really.

Man, you have a knack for adapting close to other cartoonist's styles. I reckon Craig Bartlett would love this. Impressive work on Helga's floating pigtales

I must say, your line art and colouring technique managed to capture to essence of the show quite a bit. Good job!
