Duo Anime Female Police Officer DiD sketch; Paper & Pencil.

Nene Romanova's lack of confidence, after being assigned to her first stake-out, has forced her to search for some help. Too embarrassed to ask within her department or to the other Knight Sabers, she contacts a well known officer at Bokuto Station, Miyuki Kobayakawa. Miyuki is intrigued and charmed by the offer, and takes some personal time to head over and assist.

After organizing various observation and surveillance technology, Miyuki arrives to the rented out garage near the target and meets Nene for the first time in person. After several hours going over the details, Nene agrees to go out for what Miyuki was told "munchies" and continues to inspect the equipment from the AD Police, which is all expensive and intriguing!

While out, Miyuki hear a disturbance on the other side of the garage, and as she turns, she sees an armored and armed trooper bearing AD Police identification. She introduces herself and that Nene is currently out, as the trooper taps his helmet. Thinking he must have an audio system malfunctions she goes over to help him, but then he grabs her! A sweet smelling cloth is clamped over her nose and mouth, and Miyuki struggles, knowing she must elude his grasp before...it...all...goes...black....

Nene, already having eaten half of the french fries on the way back to the garage, enters to find Miyuki tied to the pole and gagged with a piece of tape. Her knees starting to shake, she looks around to confirm her sense of danger, and runs over to untie her, asking her what happened. But before she can reach for her tape gag, she is overpowered from behind! Strong muscles wrestle her onto a mattress on the garage floor, and she feels the coils of nylon rope drawn tight around her wrists and tied off. She tries to kick out and away, but the same gloved hands are now holding her boots and tying them together too. As she tries to twist and turn her wrists to loosen the rope or reach where the knot is, she turns her body around a little, to be shocked at seeing a trooper is the one tying her up.

"Who are you? Why are you doing this?" she pleads, but the trooper only roughly turns her body back onto her stomach, using more rope to attach her wrists to her ankles in a hogtie. Nene whimpers in this uncomfortable position, as the hogtie knot is tied out of her reach and she notices the cloth strip lying next to her; she knows what is coming next.

Miyuki can do nothing but struggle with her ropes and feel around for anything sharp on the pole while she looks on at Nene's capture. What has she and her new law enforcement friend gotten themselves into???

This image prompted me to want to draw Nene for a long time, and I always wondered "What if the trooper behind her was actually a bad guy and about to tie her up?" Adam, I hope you approve!!!

My time for art is severely compromised for at least the next 3 weeks before my job's busy season calms down, but I was able to finish this one this morning. I am mostly satisfied with the way it came out, especially since I had very broken time period with which to work on it and remember what I was trying to complete. That all being said, I love girls in uniforms tied up, and these two cuties are much more brains than brawn; perfect captives as long as you don't give them too much to work with for an escape!

Details on the construction:

Miyuki Kobayakawa: I don't really have much experience with "You're Under Arrest", but I do know that Miyuki was used as the model for Belldandy in "Ah! My Goddess", and you can see it pretty easily in official and fan art. My biggest concern with her position was how to draw her feet, and to keep her slim as she seems VERY fit. I solved the feet by hiding them with Nene's head (what a cop out -- ha ha) and I must have fixed her body and skirt a bunch of times before I thought it looked accurate. I also had a lot of trouble with her expression, and I only decided on the tape as the gag after trying a cleave and finding it just didn't look right on her, for some reason.

Nene Romanova: This cop girl from "Bubblegum Crisis" was always my favorite. The least battle worthy, but cutest, I don't automatically like the brainy girl characters, but in her case, she just seems the most normal, and the easiest to tie up. Plus she is the only one of the group that is an actual officer of the law. I really liked in some shots where she wore boots instead of heels with her police uniform, and used that. My most difficult areas was getting her legs and shirt length right, and of course I needed several tries on her head and hair.

ADP Trooper # 29 (28?): This guy was by far the hardest to draw. VERY detailed armor and clothing, an awesome helmet, and one boot shown in the kneeling that I almost gave up on before what you see here, which I know still isn't right but it'll have to do. Even worse, ADP Trooper references were not easy to obtain, but I needed them badly. Because of his position, I had to have him straddling Nene's legs while finishing tying her up.

The scene: Tried a garage/basement hybrid this time; garage style door behind the trooper, and just some various racks holding equipment otherwise. I was thinking to show another pole to complement the one Miyuki is tied to, but couldn't fit it in really. I finally came up with the opened box of ADP stuff in the empty space between Miyuki and the rack last.
