"The solider craned his neck to see where the magical attack originated from. Near the dirt road stood a tall elderly man. The wrinkles on his swarthy skin and whiteness in his long silver hair denoted great age, and his cloudy turquoise eyes, opaque like aged turquoise, appeared as if they had witnessed countless lifetimes. He was garbed in a long-flowing white robe with equally flowing sleeves and secured by a silver cord. Upon his head, he wore a wide-brimmed hat as white as his outfit. He leant upon a gnarled walking stick and glanced down at the man with a look a teacher would give his pupil."

The true age of this Great Wizard remains a mystery, for he has lived longer than anyone else in Arden. Some say he is as old as the world itself. With great age comes even greater wisdom that has allowed him to master his magic. Among these powers, his clairvoyance allows him to see everything that ever has been and will be. With his wisdom and experience, he raised the soldier Joshua to fulfill his destiny.
