Description
"Underneath the shade of a pink blossom tree, an elven lad chopped firewood. Though the elf was more than two hundred years old, he could have been mistaken for a young man in his twenties. He wore a humble outfit with a green kimono and wooden sandals. His long raven hair was tied in a knot to keep his ebony tresses free of his chopping. Despite his lithe frame, he cleaved each log as effortlessly as a katana cutting through bamboo. His brown skin glowed with sweat. His blank white eyes stared vacantly at the ground."Though elves are known for their keen eyesight, Matthias was born blind. Nevertheless, his other senses more than compensated for his lack of sight. He was raised by a master swordsmith to not only craft the finest blades, but use them with expert precision. His lifelong training allowed him to wield his katana just as well, if not better, than any seeing person. Though he wishes to continue his father's trade, he yearns to venture from his village and experience the outside world.
