I'm not sure about it, either you could go for a name that kinda sounds good for the character, or a certain one that has a meaning behind it.

It's not limited to drawings, it can help with written characters too

my characters come from spontaneous events. I dont want to make a character and end up making a series off of a brand new character. TT_TT its hard to keep track of them all.

dude. you have no IDEA how many characters i have.
one day i decided just to list off all the MALE characters i had.
...180 something, maybe higher. and that was just MALE characters. list off the Female characters is going to be insane. roughly around the same number as the males but anyway.

As for me, I think it's important to not write too little, but not waaaay too much about one character (just enough to have only info that's relevant to a story you write). I try not to make people "all-powerful", but I'm not afraid to try to be imaginative (although I do admit I have made a Mary-Sue before, and I'm gonna change that with a redesign of that OC and a little re-writing of her).

Yeah, it's important to have enough info about your characters, specially if you plan to develop a story with them. It's also important to give them some strenghts, but also some weaknesses, some people tend to get too attached to their characters to realize they're getting boring due to their perfection, then it's too late to do something about their characters.

You'll always be trying, success is mostly 99% errors, even I have troubles with my characters, but when you have a nice base you can polish it, change some bits until you think it's better.

Fantastic!! A informative and helpful "How To" a nice choice using different colors it makes it so cute and attention grabbing. It never occured to me to use different colored lines in my work. I'm soo black and white I need to start dabbling more with things like that. Plus I love how you drew those eyes through out the entire page, and she likes glasses AllRiiiight!
