It was in the Belgian Ardennes that I met this lovely lot last year in May. The shot which I submitted yesterday reminded me of them. I very much like how they positioned themselves.Related content

I think they were rather afraid themselves, not trusting me at all. I did not trust them either. Fortunately there was a good fence.

Being a vegetarian all my life and growing up in a household where we learn to respect all animals - it doesn't matter their brain size or level of intelligence - any animal that is born into to this world should be treated equally and the same as we treat each other, and I love seeing people treating them nicely (or in this case, showing them respect and/or curiosity by photographing them and writing about them). It's wonderful to see! More and more people should be doing that!
