Three more favs! You are spoiling me!
I am very glad that you are especially positive about this shot. Indeed the way of looking of this cow is just too impressive - that is why I still think it my best cowshot.
Someone wrote some time ago: I love your cowshots! I find that very stimulating. Never took cows before I got my digital camera last year. Going on DA has been tremendously encouraging.

I love cows. they are gentle giants. i have never seen such tags on cows, they look like earings. This cow looks a bit stoned, like it is saying "what's up, dude?".

I very much like your reaction to this cow shot. I think it is one of my best, especially in the way that cow looks at the spectator. I like that expression of yours: looking "a bit stoned". I am too old and sober to know what looking a bit stoned is, but it sounds very adequate.

Very nice to hear from you again. Yes, this cow is a very special shot! It makes me laugh every time I see it. I just find it extremely funny. It would be good poster.
But unfortunately I do not know how that poster thing works. I could try to find out, but att the moment I am far too busy with taking new pictures. Did about 600 the last five days, cycling, walking, cycling etc. So there is some stuff there to be put on the galleries.
I just saw that you have not placed anything new. I hope you will soon be able to go out and do some more of your good shots. I am looking forward to them.

600 shots?!
wow, that's commitment!
But yes, either today or tomorrow (which ever day I have more time to do it) I will put some of my newest pictures up.
This weekend I went to a tulip farm and greenhouse. No tulips though. That was kinda dissapointing. They had already cut them for bouquets and whatnot. Oh well, the greenhouse itself was nice.

It's SCARY!
It's a freakin' cow.
How did you get so close?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

jchanders In reply to nattfisk [2005-05-06 19:46:30 +0000 UTC]

Well, they are fortunately very calm cows. For the rest I approached it very slowly, holding the camera deep down in front of me, always keeping my chance to retract quickly open once the cow should suddenly rise.
