Oh yeah, THIS is what I call a hedgehog's evil counterpart!
Metal Sonic was created by Dr. Robotnik to counter Sonic and his speed. He is just so badass, unlike a certain not so ultimate life form.
All Metal Sonic craves is destruction, and thinks he's better than everything and everyone (even Robotnik himself!). He's never all shady and emo or even has such a dramatic past.
Sadly, he hasn't appeared in a real game in ages. Except in small spinoffs such as Sonic Free Riders and being hinted at in Sonic 4. Instead, we get this emo Sonic recolor who uses guns and shit! Sonic characters © Sega

I'm glad his classic form is back in Generations, even tho the modern design may look so much the same but you know what I mean.

Yeah, I was actually surprized to find out that they were using his classic model! One thing I do see between his modern and classic forms is that the modern one has an extra part on the bottom of his belly for his waist where his legs are.
