"A Thneed's a Fine-Something-That-All-People-Need"I wanted to try to draw the Once-ler in the Lorax movie how he'd look in the original book. I gave him the long, green gloves to be more faithful and hopefully make both sides of the fandom happy.
I really tried to make the style of the art like the actual Dr.Suess books. But I kinda failed at it............as usual..

Nice artwork, though I do like the movie Once-ler, he's not really the same character as the original from the book and cartoon. That Once-ler sounds a lot older even in his flashbacks. So I think if we ever saw his face, he wouldn't look like the movie's version anyway. In fact I never saw him as human at first, thought he was related to the Grinch. But very nice interpretation anyway, if the movie Once-ler was the one in the book, it looks fitting in the original style
(also just a random thought, according to the book the Lorax was meant to be brown, but everything else including the cartoon makes him more orange, especially the movie)

I think it's pretty neat, but making it just like the book isn't necessary, (at least to me, try telling that to an insane fan!) Your style is what makes it cool and original.

I was trying to make it look as if the Once-ler's design in the movie actually was in the book. Ya know, instead of just the green arms.[link]
