Materials and Methods
Nikon D80 + 50mm F1.8 Nikkor + IR remote + 2 second timer so I could use both hands. Dark brown fabric hung in the background with tape. 88 shots to get the composition right. Black eye liner to draw the eyes and smile. It's been awhile since I last drew on myself for a photo; I forgot how hard drawing on uneven surfaces with my non-dominant hand was
GIMP for post editing. Grunge detail extraction protocol. More curves to tweak contrast and colors. Additional Comments

VERY well-done!
When I do self-shoots and have a difficult time, sometimes I put a mirror behind the camera and up the time on the timer to 10 seconds. Obviously it wouldn't help with the eyes part, but could help with getting the mouth composition right. Really, great job!

Yes, the setup consisted of a camera on a tripod and a mirror leaning on the tripod to help compose the mouth part. The 88 shots is mainly due to the positioning of the hand and the angle of my face with respect to the camera
