Today is a very special day
It's birthday of my dear sister
Oh, how I want to thank You for everything sis. Not only for inspiring me to draw. If it weren't for You, I would probably pick a pencil a lot later than I did seeing Your arts and just how much fun and satisfaction You have drawing. And for encouraging me, teaching me, following my progress, and helping me develop artistic sensibilities
But even more than that - Thank You for being the best sister in the world!
Many siblings argue over nothing, but not us - even if our opinion on the subject differed You were always so understanding. Not to mention that we have always so much fun together
I finally were able to design Your OC based on some outlines You gave me, and I hope You'll like it
I was really hard-press to find an inspiration for a setting to this picture. At first I searched for things You - Yourself might be doing, like drawing, writing, or overall sitting in some kind ow artistic workshop, but nothing worked...
So I asked myself rather what You are looking for in the arts of other artists, and then it hit me... You love Gothic climate as much as I do! Architecture, clothes, music... just overall feel. So I tried to went this direction and I have to say... man, I sure have to draw something like that more often, that was just such a nice experience ^_^
So this is my present for You...

You really do have a way with architecture and accessories, that's a given. It's almost like there's a void of some sort when you do an art piece without one of those. And you make them work so well!
I'm sure your sis will love this. You envisioned a beautiful mare for her. Those eyes are marvellous.
And luck would have it, she is a Pegasus, which in turn means we get to enjoy gorgeous feathers.
On a side note, that description killed me in more ways then you can imagine, for reasons you are well aware off.
Probably the first and only time I can remember where the description in one of your pieces touched me more then the artwork itself.
You'll send me to bed in a rather shameful state, but it's all right.
You're a wonderful person, and I have little doubt your sister follows the same footsteps.
I'm happy you can enjoy each other's company.
