I don't know WHY we need a goddam preview image now, or if i'm screwin it up, regardless, here is my latest, it is final because I don't want to work on it any longer, i have too many other ideas in my head and this is just inerferring. I'm gonna try to submit this as a GIF, but who knows what the hell DAv3 will post it as....Related content

It looks so good when pixelated! REALLY GREAT!
First i saw it and then i was "Hey thats an Escher masterpiece!". And then I started to look at it. So great! So many details. The texture is great and the bricks looks great with rounded corners. Have you used a lot of time making this? If so, I understand it. The water splashing down and the waterfall is 25% or 50% (whatever) transperant. That just looks so great. When i think about that this is pixel art, and not an anti-alias art, then i think this is very great pixel art because you can just make pixelart in Microsoft Paint if you know how to do it. You cant make as much detail as in here. I'm really sure that Escher would be very proud of your work.

Excellent final version. I see some improvements over the previous versions that came out great. The waterfall is perfect with slightly transparent water and the small splash in the pool below. Everything else just looks so Escheresque, if you can call that a word.

im with you on that whole preview image thing, i think whoever is responsible for that needs to be shot...i mena i can understand it (to many files, loading times and such) but i still think they could have found a more accomidating solution.

DA’'s been giving me the same problem with the preview. I've been saving things as PNG files and that seems to work just fine, as PNG needs no preview and doesn't degrade things like JPG's do.
Anyway, wonderful piece of work. Nice details and textures. The optical illusion came out perfect. Nice job.

This is in the running for thebest piece of pixel art I have seen on this site. Excellent choice of subject. The execution was very good. The bacground color is not my favorite, but it works with the piece.

I feel your pain. Having to have a jpeg is a crock of shit, especially for pixel artists.
The textures are wicked, as are the ripples and the water transparency.
