Yeah, it's good it took a little longer though; it kinda gave me time to refine some things a bit more.

Thanks, I took a look at your marines and if I may make a suggestion? Base coat your reds with the foundation red then go over with blood red. The black primer was showing through.

Yeah I figured that, I am doing a few more layers (these are also a bit earlier marines. I havent posted anything new unless it is in my BnC but I will see if the foundations can work, I tried it once and it brightened my red too much.
thanks

Well I use the foundation as the base and highlight with blood red then blazing orange. No worries, just be sure to water down he foundations. They can be kinda thick.

He looks good, and I like the paint scheme. I feel that he is a little under-decorated for a chapter master. IMO I think that a dark angels body would have done a lot more for the Grim Reaper aspect of this character. I LOVE the scythe though - very unique. I can honestly say I have never seen anyone put a scythe on a marine before.

Well he may be under decorated, but i lack any real sculpting abilities. And seeing as I already spent $35 just for the scythe blade and I'm unemployed, it would be a bit hard to justify wih myself spending another $25 for a body.
Thanks, it took me some time to figure our ou how I was going to make it.

Yeah... GW is proud of their kits lol. What you might do next time is check out bitzbarn.com or thewarstore.com ; they sell single bits and sprues that are cheaper than buying a full kit. ^_^

Well I spent about a year trying to get the bit, and I have a friend how might buy the zombies for a Necromunda squad.

Well you can only ride an economic bubble like that for so long; ultimately all the credit card debt caught up with people and things fell apart too quickly for anyone to be able to slow it down much less stop it.

Ah, okay. Sorry; my brain was still half asleep when I wrote the reply. Thanks, I like to go the extra mile with my stuff.
I subscribe to the notion that the better paint job on the army the better it will be.

Thanks, getting the blade for the scythe was a pain. I had to buy a box of Fantasy zombies just for that bit.... at leat I might be able to resell them to somebody.

I guess, it's just kinda annoying to go through all that for one little piece. But then again it's the bit that makes the model complete.
