Description
Look who remembers how to draw!
This is the first installment of what (I hope) is going to be a big art project for the year 2014. Disney has released 52 featured films on DVD to this date, and I plan on making a drawing each week for each film. I present to you:
I have watched this movie, as most of you probably have, but I must say it is not my favorite. However, it is amazing considering it was released in 1937. Way to go, Walt! And of course, it was the beginning of a wonderful line of movies, many of which I love.
I'm pleased with how it turned out, considering it's been so long since I actually drew anything worth uploading. I sketched Snowy from this screencap (thank you, YouTube), then lined her in GIMP (credits). I added color and shading in Photoshop Elements with my beloved tablet (credits), and found some fonts (credits) closely matching to this on dafont.com (love that place!). Okay, okay, you got me. I cheated on the S and the W. But I didn't just copy them, I made brushes out of them first! Then I added the style, color, etc. (Ok, so it sounded better in my head. Leave me alone.
) The texture on the background comes from my Space Brush Pack (credits).

Thanks so much, Mina! I will be surprised if I actually stay on schedule, but I will do my best. Can't wait to see your Peter Pan! I haven't forgotten about our art trade, either. I'm still contacting some people about journal commissions, but when I get those cleared through we'll definitely do that trade.

I think I've offered too many prizes... they eat my time O_o
