Fan art I did for the movie the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" (Disney 2010), this is the Merlin's Circle. I added some book cover styling on the side from the Encantus Spellbook.Related content

I really need to know the difference between "matter" and "transformation". I mean, when Blake transforms his car... what is it? I know that when he animates the metal eagle, it's either "matter" or "motion"...
Or the plasma spell? (Tho that may be "element"...)
And think that any illusion spell is "mind" related...

I think tranformation is more like turning someone from one form to another, while matter is more chemistry, like creating fire or turning one element into another.

Elements could mean "The elements", like rain, snow, and wind. But this is just a guess. Because there must be a difference between elements and matter to deserve their own category.

In the movie Dave practices in the Matter circle when he is practicing making Plasma Bolts. Plasma is one of the 5 states of Matter.

I own the movie now, and have several screen shots. This picture is accurate, I made sure of it. Though tattoos are permanent making me not a big fan of getting one, after all life is hardly ever permanent. But in the end it is your decision, good luck.
