Just started using this and i love it but when i loaded up iTunes and played music, its not showing any of the music information (cover, Length, etc.).  I think i set it up properly, is something wrong with it or am i missing something.

Go to SETTINGS > PERSONAL DATA > MEDIA PLAYER and write iTunes in the corresponding area and hit the enter key on your Keyboard. After that hit the APPLY Button or if you just closed the settings window hit the REFRESH Button. This should work docs.rainmeter.net/manual/plug…

If not . . . well . . . i never used iTunes so i can't really tell, sry.

Is there a way to change various buttons which are not configurable via the menu settings? 
For example, the references to "Steam".

 

Or the reference to the "Star Trek Online Gateway".

 

These are pretty much the only things that still bother me ...

Also:
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit die Verweise auf "Steam" und auf "Star Trek Online Gateway" zu änbder oder zumindest inaktiv zu machen?
Das sind die einzigen 2 Sachen mit denen ich nicht wirklich was anfangen kann und rein gar nicht brauche.
Nimmt mir nur die Möglichkeit auf andere Resourcen zugreifen zu können.

Wäre für jede Hilfe dankbar.

Im Grunde ist nun alles so angepasst wie gewünscht und bin glücklich damit andere mit dieser Skin aus dem Konzept zu bringen.
Schon geil wenn z.B. die Tochter mal an den PC will und absolut keinen Durchblick mehr hat weil es keine üblichen Icons und so gibt. ))

Settings > Personal Data > Startmenu
That should open a folder with shortcuts. Just place/remove some shortcuts in that folder and Apply the changes

LCARS 2.5.1 uses fixed elements that can't be resized. If you want something like that you would have to create your own Rainmeter skin, sry.

The background always was and will be clear. You have to remove all the shortcuts and set your Windows background to black.

well you could add an background to LCARS yourself by editing the Skin file. Just add the lines "BackgroundMode=2" and "SolidColor=0,0,0,255" at the Rainmeter section

Is there a way to put the skin on the back layer. For example when i have my chrome open and press the skin, Chrome window will go at the back of the skin. Is there a way to set up the skin like a wallpaper?(Bad English i know)

Very much amount of hard work and details obviously went into this, and it is appreciated.  I was so looking forward to using it.  However, none of the ini size setups fit a standard Windows 10 1920x1080 screen using the Windows recommended 125% text size (too small for me) or larger.  Only fits with the smallest text size setting which (Microsoft's design issue) is too small to be usable in all programs for me and everyone I work with.  I would enjoy revisiting if this was updated to support the Windows 10 screen/texting pairing schemes that are more common in the marketplace to make Windows usable (again - a Microsoft caused issue with this and many programs).  Good luck and thank you again.

That's sadly an issue with all Windows Versions and Rainmeter. The Program always tries to change the Skin size to fit the DPI settings of Windows. To fix that, someone would need to rewrite the whole Skin so it could change depending on the predefined size (and that's what I'm currently trying, so hope is not lost )

go to SETTINGS > ENVIRONMENT > WEATHER CONTROLS and change the Location by replacing GMXX5544 with your Location Code and press Enter
After that APPLY SETTINGS and everything should reload with the new Data

It will show you a folder with probably 2 shortcuts. Just put other shortcuts of the programs you want to start in there, close the folder and hit the APPLY SETTINGS button.

the changed colors gives the whole skin a completely different atmosphere, like a mirror universe or battleship LCARS. nice work

Thank you so much for this skin. I have always been a big Star Trek fan and love what you did here. Well, after reading the comments below I now know why the system button doesn't work. Now why can't I get the slideshow to work? Everything else works great. I love it.

the slideshow is set to a special folder: C:\Users\#USERNAME #\Pictures\Slideshow\

you can change the folder at the settings screen at PERSONAL DATA > SLIDESHOW FOLDER

Hi again, freaky333. I'm the guy who left that huge review on 2.5.0. So I finally got triple monitors.... but I don't see 5760x1080 in the resolution list. D:

I JUST finally tried out the 5760x1080 today on 2.5.0. It's pretty cool, but I don't think it holds up to the single-screen versions since it doesn't feel full screen enough because of all the black space on particularly the left and right screens.

So I came on here to see if you had an updated one that maybe improved on it...but I don't see that resolution here.

With being a mere .1 update, I assume there wasn't any big changes, but, do you have or could you please add a changes list? I got mine working perfectly, and remember I made some edits, so I don't think I'll update until I see a significant change in a list of updates.

The "changelist" is more or less here:  LCARS for Rainmeter 2.5.1 ReuploadDue to some error at the upload you only were able to load Version 2.5.0 so i made a Reupload which should fix every major Problem like:
- 8 Core CPU Window
- Weather link
- reworked Media Player
- fixed color bug at a Notepad Button (minor Bug)


It didn't change a lot, most of the changes were bugfixes and stuff. 
I know what you mean with the 5760x1080 version and with the next update it'll change, promise.

I just don't know when I will upload something new 'cause I'm working in Aquila and LCARS at the same time. You may now ask "Why working on 2 Projects at the same time!?". Because Aquila was and is my testing ground for everything new. The main focus right now is to make a resizeable Skin with a lot of customisation options. This is a lot of background work (how to structure and how to calculate).

So I take my time to work out everything and it's on a pretty good way

Just FYI, I just installed this version, I kept a copy of my last file just in case, and the weather behaved the same as in the last version.  I can't get it to work in a normal setting manner.  What are the fixes in this version?
