Description Heres the original view of the Apache drop ship [link]

ased loosely off of the antiquated North American Union Cheyenne-class dropship, the Apache was developed by Professional Military Solutions Corporation as part of their naval support operations for other, more ground-combat-oriented mercenary firms. Designed to pacify an LZ and deliver a platoon of power armoured troops dirtside in a hurry, the Apache possesses substantial firepower, tremendous armour for its size, and is as agile as many fighters.
Armaments on the Apache are mostly hidden, deployable weapons arrays designed to survive incoming fire under the thick hide of the hull plating and be deployed as needed. Two dual light naval APPC turrets forward are able to hammer enemy fighters and corvettes with astounding firepower. To devastate ground-based anti-air/space facilities, the Apache mounts four retractable missile pods loaded with specialized AGMs (Air-to-Ground Missiles) can unleash volleys of nine missiles each, with four volleys per launcher in a standard load. Under the cockpit is an AP lancer ball-turret emitter designed to sweep the LZ on final approach, and also doubles as a potent anti-missile battery.
The Apache’s primary job, however, is not combating enemy ships, but delivering its payload to the ground. The troop bay of the Apache can carry either two platoons of conventional troops or one platoon of power armoured troops with support personnel, and can carry one support walker in the rear under the tail via maglock anchor points. Due to the AG field emitters and the twin dual-core gravitic engines, weight is not a problem for the Apache, and field refit experiments by PMSC have proven that one can carry three additional support walkers or one assault walker underneath the vessel. Said walkers are dropped prior to landing, using grav chutes to slow their descent at the last second and land at combat readiness.
The Apache sports a hide thicker than many corvette-class vessels. The entire hull is comprised of atomically-bonded metallic hydrogen battleplate with carbon interweave and tenser field structural support, one-to-three meters thick. Even the cockpit viewscreen is a transparent form of the battleplate, one meter thick, but molded in such a way as to remove any visual distortions due to the thickness. Potent triple-layer deflector/ablative/deflector shields and advanced ECM and conventional countermeasures round out the defenses to maximize the Apache’s chances of getting to the ground safely in a furball.

Yeah, the Original ideal was based off the Aliens dropship so it bears some resemblance to it.
