Description
Superheavy fan 'Mech idea based on the original Behemoth (Stone Rhino) assault 'Mech.Behemoth II (unofficial/fan design)
150t IS
300XL w/ Superheavy Endo
23t Heavy Ferro-Fibrous
2 Snub-Nose PPCs
4 Medium Lasers
3 Improved Heavy Gauss Rifles
Being a big fan of BattleTech growing up (stayed with the game until TRO 3067), of course I had to actually create a 'Mech I was just trying to draw when I learned about the Superheavy rules. (And, of course, spent more time on it than intended.)
I drew this Behemoth II idea with Hardened Armor, Light PPCs instead of Medium Lasers, and standard Gauss Rifles in mind, but later learning that the IS have re-engineered lasers (*cough* whatarethose), and knowing that HA reduces Running MP, switched the armor to Heavy F-F, with the extra tonnage being able to upgrade the GRs into Improved Heavy GRs (scary O_O). That pretty much makes this a Lyran creation, doesn't it? I don't find that surprising in the least, haha.
Though the design changed, I was too lazy to go back and update the drawing (which would have had bigger Gauss barrels, another pair of laser holes on the arms, and maybe not look as layered due to the HA).
Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, suggestions, etc. Give me a shout if you're a BT fan as well!

"...Improved Heavy GRs (scary O_O)."
Yep. 22 damage at up to 19 hexes. No other weapon deals that much damage at that range (not even artillery outside of Cruise Missiles).
When I first saw the Superheavy 'Mech rules, I created one of my own: allard-liao.deviantart.com/art…
