A brief sketch for an idea I had not long ago for the lit community.
I didn't go into anything on the submission side. More or less this is the presentation side one would see as they click on a Lit deviation.
I'm sure most of you don't know that I actually came to deviantART as a writer. It took a few years before I fell into what I'm doing here, now.
I've been meaning to re-upload some of my older work, and it occurred to me as I thought about doing so how entirely in need of help that whole process really is.
I hope this one is actually considered seriously. It could really improve our Lit system by leaps and bounds... and make it FUN to read again!!!
As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

i think this is a good idea for someone like leme i am working on a a few multic-chapter stories adn this would make it a lot easier for some one like to expose my work

Most definitely. Playwrites and so forth could also benefit from a chapters system!

Myes, this would be awesome for the lit community. But could there also be a feature to merge all existing chapters together for this feature? Or maybe that would be too complicated.

I would love this, but in a separate literary portfolio (like "artists" get), not in the gallery.

Wow, that's a really, really, smart idea. You need to design websites! This would also be convenient for comics, or another type of themed set of visual deviations.

Design I could do! implement, however, not so much. i can't code for the life of me. it would be great though to be called upon just for conceptual design. I know I could make a pretty penny in think-tank group where I'm just flashing out ideas and mocking them up.

It's a pretty major change. So it would most probably only be implemented in the next version of DA, if at all.

Definitely a wonderful idea that cannot be implemented too soon! Both Chapters and Annotations would be an amazing addition to Literature submissions.
