First off, I'm flipping excited as to how well little Yugi came out. He looks AMAZING!! (plan on coloring, but ya'll know how concrete this statement is. XD) Even tried using varying line widths for the first time to fit the art style.

Yugi Muto from the Yu-Gi-Oh!: Duel Monsters series. To be totally honest, I've fallen in love with the series. Mostly in love with Yugi Muto and Yami Yugi (Pharaoh Atem). I love the relationship between them and their strong bond of friendship. It's also awesome to slowly unravel the mystery behind the 5,000 year old spirit of the Millennium Puzzle (Yami Yugi). Also, I always loved Egypt and magic and stuff and the whole two minds sharing one body, so yeah, this show is right up my ally.

Although the show came out just after Pokemon, I wasn't allowed to watch it because of it's darker nature. (Which is funny since the show has a strong message of friendship throughout it.) Anyway, I love Yugi's design. I find it pretty unique, even for an anime character. Yugi is a very sweet, kind hearted, respectful character that puts others before himself and doesn't think twice to risk his life to save his friends. He loves games and is really talented in the Duel Monster playing card game. Although he's really short for his age, Yugi will bravely stand up against towering foes to do what is right, even if it means getting the tar beat out of him.

I hope to do the Pharaoh (Yami Yugi) next. I may even try drawing Yugi from his season 0 iteration. (because he's so stink'n cute!!)
