Here's my design for the dA epic logo challenge. I tried to keep everything in tune to what they thought made a good logo. They mentioned how they loved the old school geekitude logos like Atari and it got me thinking of making this.Related content

Wow I haven't logged onto Deviant in a while.. love the new logo.. not really sure what it means.. is there a logo explanation somewhere? Thanks for commenting by the way

Looks a bit like a sport logo to me. Not quite fitting for deviantart at least, but fantastic design nevertheless.

I get what you're saying...I go my inspiration though from the atari logo that they mentioned as a good reference.. It kinda looks sporty too ya?

Well, for some reason it strongly reminds me of the Fila logo. I am probably the only one who would make such association though.

I ment that in a nice way, but I think you need to take that far right stripe out, and where it connects on the other side. Maybe put a little hinge on the A in the middle of the letter. [link] just a thought

well I knew you meant it a nice way. No sarcasm intended. Thanks for the tip but I stared at this logo like for two days and I just wanted to concentrate on aesthetics. But thanks for the tip. The contest is over so I guess we'll just have to wait for the verdict.
