because god knows I'd love to do an rpg, but won't ever have the time. Just like every other pixel artist out there.
Added note after DD: I CAN'T JOIN ANY PROJECTS. Don't ask.
Also, I've decided to release these as PUBLIC DOMAIN. Anyone can use them for any purpose. RPG creators? rock my world.

I love how intricate and detailed these are, and on such a tiny scale! IMO, DD deserved. It certainly caught my eye.

If you haven't got a DD, you're either not talented enough in your field, or no one likes your stuff. I'd love a DD too, but I'm no where near as good as I need to be.

**Ahem** I can do pixel art thank you, maybe not as good, maybe as good. Most definaly not BETTER then this person though.
And I do need practice, I always will need practice, people like my art yes, not an ammount I'm perfect with though, I'd be more then happy if more people liked my art.
Talented? I'm a lot better then MANY manga artists (published manga artists) but there are many better then me.
I'm ALWAYSS ready to admit my faults, only thing that bugs me most, is this person as a BEAUTIFULLY detailed female face (pixelated) in their gallery, that DEFINALY deserves more recognition than this peice.

Yes, frankly, I'm a little perplexed that this was chosen over that face; I'm a lot prouder of that one, but apparently someone really took a shine to this in particular. C'est la vie.

You can never compare your art skill to someone in another genre. They all have their own characteristics, alot are extremely hard to do.
I could say that I'm better than you because I focus on digital art rather than play around with pens and markers. Doesn't make it so. For me to be able to compete against you, I need to specialize in the same area.
Remember that DDs are suggested by people then approved by gallery mods. Look up the bloody process.
And yeah, so what, a face. Like there aren't a million DDs of those already. DDs are expressions of unique, even unusual concepts and admins go out of their way to make sure that the DDs aren't to mediocre or repetitive.
So again. There's a reason why this got chosen, and not any of your stuff.

Uhm... I honestly dont know why your so raringly angry about this... I never said I was better. And I agree, nobody can compete with someone if ther in a different feild. And, I know the process, I'm not exactly new here, AND I never said I didn't know, I wish you weren't assuming that I didn't.
Also, I think that her face would have been more challenging and require more skill, rather then these little trinkets, is it SO wrong to think that they may have chosen the wrong deviation. SKILL wise?
And I really wish you would stop poking at the fact that I HAVENT been chosen, I said I haddent been, and I havent, You've been bringing it up ever since, You said you havent been chosen, and have I been sitting here saying "you weren't chosen because your not good enough" what a way to be-little someone.

Look... you straying off topic. Seriously, this was about me thinking that this pic wassn't doing this artist justice because another pic in their gallery showed more skill. It has NOTHING to do with the fact that I preffer it because of my art style. Actually, I think because of the lighting on it, and the porportions and how it looks realistic, is what catches the eye. I honestly think I didn't do anything wrong here, and your going to cause an over load of SPAM on this persons artwork.
And yes, Thousands would BREAK their screens because it takes TIME. And some people DONT HAVE PATIENTCE. Which, is the reason I dont pixel, I can do it, quite easilly actually, I just dont preffer it.
And I'm sure theres thousands like me too, and thousands who DO preffer it. But thats not the point.
