Description
Wheeee, got this one uploaded too! Don't know why I can't watermark this one, but whatever. This, along with my Command Mission Absolute Zero picture, are probably my most famous works. First brought to the web at the now no-longer-updated VG Fan Art Site back in 2000.... 2005 I think, I wouldn't be surprised if this was the first ever fan art piece of Command Mission Ultimate Armor X ever uploaded to the Internet. I have seen these pics of mine scattered around the internet, celebrated in Youtube videos and cropped for other galleries. But now you know who the original artist is. Yes-siree, I can prove these are mine. I have the original hand-drawn copies in my portfolio.
So now you know!... And... I shouldn't even have to finish that sentence.

I mostly attribute that status to X for two reasons: 1 he's the shared ancestor of all reploids except for two, and 2 if Zero is called the Cyber god of destruction, it would be fitting if X were the god of creation. In Zero 2, his body is even sealed away in some tower in Neo Arcadia called Yggdrasil, the Norse tree of life

Umm... I'm not certain as to the message you're referencing. Are you talking about the message I left on your Deviant Art homepage? If that's the case, then there is just a little space for comments at the bottom right of the page; you have to click in the empty, white box under the "Comment" section.
Navigating and working with DA can be awkward and hard to figure out at times. I remember when I started I had a hard time knowing what I'm looking at. XD Hope you like the site though. Lots of great artwork here!

Thanks for getting back to my msg although I really don't recall what it was at the moment. You do have some Awesome Megaman art here ..Did you draw them on your own or are they from the Megaman Fandom site.
I am just a BIG fabΒ of any any work in general .. I used to play MegamanΒ since it first was introduced back on NES and continued onto SNES. I could never beat all the levels but still enjoyed the game play. Side scrollers will always be my favorite since tha's what I grew up with. Just like the side scrolling shoot em upΒ Star ship games of the past like Life Force and Gradius .. LOVED them !! Wish they would remake them with Hi-Res CGI for the newer gaming Systems .. That would be SO COOL to see.

All of my artwork here is indeed my work. I don`t post work from others in my galleries. I`m glad you like my efforts!
My introduction to the Blue Bomber was on the NES too, with Mega Man 3. I really started getting into the franchise once the X games dropped though. Most of my inspiration comes from that series, as you can see.
I also grew up with side scrollers, since that is what most early consoles were championed at. I also got into RPGs and flight simulation as I got older, but side scrollers will always sit best for me I think.
Yeah, I agree, we need more space shooter action for current machines, totally! Don`t see them outside of indie developers these days. I was never good at those myself but I have always enjoyed the bullet patterns, stage design, background music, and enemy design of these types of games. They were often very challenging, but worth the struggle.
Thank you for your thoughtful comment. I do wish you well in your endeavors.

I'm glad to hear that someone else out there still like's the side scrollers. The only thing I wish I could have seen now are all those Japan version shooters. Too bad they didn't make some of them over here, I would have played most of them. Then I saw these TouHou games with all those "Witch Girls" and all .. The Bullethell or "Danmaku". I SO wish I had them for the gaming systems of the past, they looked like so much funΒ and a brand new challenge because you don't die with just one hit. The only way I played some of those type now are on my Android. Still cool .. just wish it was on a bigger screen and had a gaming joystick.
The message I meant was the on eyou lest on my msg board, it said about 3 weeks ago.
"Whoa, someone has been on a Collection spree! Thank you for thinking so many of my works are worthy"
that's what I was referring to, I wondered how you do that.

Oh God, those Touhou bullet hells looks just like that; hell. XD I know I would never have the skill for those, but damn they are wonderful for watching. Those patterns are very spellbinding, if you can excuse the pun. I think you can find them on Steam now, though I'm not certain.
Oh, yes. That message I responded to was just a click below the Comments section at the bottom your homepage. Scroll down and you should see it.

This has to be the coolest and most epic form of armor X has ever gained. Also this picture is very well done. Drawing it could not have been an easy task.

Indeed, this was a rather grueling work. With practically no reliable references other then the in-game graphics from Command Mission, it took a little imagination to tweak the details. The lack of computer skills and resources meant I had to do this all by hand too, which was.... Painful by the end.
I did go over this work with some Photoshop before I posted it here, though it didn't need much work thankfully. I'm glad you like it. It's not too common you see this form in illustration.

Doing it all by hand is a really impressive feat, though. ^w^ Plus it must have been a great feeling to see the finished product.
Also, you are welcome

Wow. I love the armors of X and Zero in CM. To me, was very difficult to get the Ultimate Armor, but in the end, I got it!

Yeah, Rafflesian can be a bother if you aren't well prepared for her. Glad you stuck with it though! The rest of the game is almost cakewalk with X' Ultimate Armor (sans maybe the Tails Clan), but at least it feels good to lay waste to your enemies.

Its true, but I donΒ΄t like when in the second turn that I activate the Absolute Zero, Zero become beserk.

You know, I don't think I have ever had the berserk problem with Zero. I think I was always careful not to go over the corrosion limit with the Force Metal..Oh, wait, that's right, Absolute Zero goes berserk if his LE falls below safe levels. Not sure if I've ever seen that myself, but I've read about it. The way to prevent that is to keep his LE high.

IrisMary In reply to JetZero [2012-02-18 18:31:21 +0000 UTC]
ThatΒ΄s how Absolute Zero become berserk! So, to prevent that I get the We to 100% and I activite Zero Absolute, and when I used it, I cooldown the mode.

JetZero In reply to IrisMary [2012-02-26 05:10:25 +0000 UTC]
That could work. Another method is to watch your LE carefully and have Cinnamon or someone with a Sub Tank ready to heal if you anticipate a strong hit.

Wow, I had no idea you were the original artist! This picture is the best of the drawings of X's ultimate armor in CM! Your work is outstanding, by far.

Thank you! These CM advanced Hyper Mode pictures were quite difficult to render, especially since they were all done by hand with traditional media. I'm glad they still manage to have an enduring quality to them. ^_^

The fact that they were done by hand adds to their enduring quality indeed! Thanks for making the best references of those two in their hyper forms!

JetZero In reply to FuZZapoK [2011-08-05 18:25:35 +0000 UTC]
XD I'm glad you can consider them a reference. I think that's the main reason why I felt so compelled to make them; because there was no good visual references of them back in 2005. These armors were majorly helpful in the game so I thought there would be people who would like to draw them for their own uses.
It appears I was right.

Yeah, I think it's nifty too, especially since it was done using completely traditional media like the Absolute Zero picture. Back then I actually knew how to draw. XD
Not too often you see fan art of this armor. I don't think many fan artists like not having a good solid reference for it.

Yeah. it gets very hard when it's about looking for reference. When some of my friends asked me to draw Absolute Zero in Fusion mode, they google it for the official or screenshot of it and I was able to do the fusion mode of him. :3
