Description This is a photo of everyday life in the Philippines. A commonality in almost every street in the metro and suburbs - a homeless young boy, half naked and hopeless. Nothing left to wear, nothing left to eat. No home, no family. No hope - for now. If only we could do something. Something to change this cruel yet predictable world. One step at a time, one step at a time.

This is an absolutely beautiful shot! Not just from the technical viewpoints (cuz i think u have fabulous contrast in the black and white ) but also the emotion of the scene and the description of it as well. How did you do in the contest btw?

Great capture, it shows very well the reality, not only in Philippines but around the world. We live in a fucked up world , with no boundaries, anything goes for greed people, it's always money money money, no one cares about itch other. Nice work mate and keep shooting reality

photojournalism! when i get a subscription, i wanna make a weekly or monthly feature on that one with specific topic on poverty and homeless children. (and that's if i get a sub) haha.

me too. cause our internet connections are not up yet in our area beacuse of the flood! it's been over a month of renting! darn! haha. but i have a few pictures with me about such cause we recently had our outreach program. check out the I NEED work of mine. i hope you'll like it.
