Well, a lot of swords passed through my hands so I know something... at least about dimensions
this way it would be quite long so it would be difficult to use it with one hand - it would be quite slow. Like when you hold a quarterstaff (approximately 2.25+ meters) at one end with one hand, which is possible (and it is a good exercise) but if you want to do anything with it, it is incredibly slow.

Very well, only one complaint as well as the last time about the dao
Grip is perhaps too short. There is standart to be place for half of another hand at least (or both hands). Because during the swings you can use the second hand to bring in additional force.

But really great job done

Wow, nice catch!
I didn't realize that until you pointed it out and I went back to check on a jian I own. The grip is a little bit short!
You sure know a lot about sword dimensions! Thanks for the helpful comments.
