  ▶ Personality
    Ried is the kind who likes to be in control of himself and his situation, going about things very methodically and well-thought out. Disorganization is also a sore spot for him, being most definitely a clean freak himself. As such, he's quite the perfectionist. He's usually able to succeed in bringing very desirable outcomes, and is quite confident in his abilities because of this. He's a pretty put-together guy.

      Ried has the common downsides of being so, he's easily irritable if things do not go his way. But to keep appearances he would often keep his reactions maintained. He's become very good at this, able to choose and pick whatever emotion to showcase his best self. You could call him two-faced because so. Outwardly, he is always pleasant, courteous, and gentlemanly, and usually it doesn't have to be faked. As this is his default attitude, he's unintendedly learned to also make himself quite the natural flirt. He flirts whether he's aware of it or not. He flirts on accident to prospect customers, workers, etc, and has unknowingly lead people on. (flirts with a potted plant //kicked) When his pet peeves aren't poked at, he's usually in a pleasant mood, being quite lighthearted and cheeky when so.

  ▶ History
Ried is the only child of two very private and reserved parents. He and his parents lived within Citrus City, who were higher ups of a major company based there. While his mother was human, his father was a moth hybrid. To save face and maintain his position, his father hid his attributes. Their positions lead them to being well off, and there was really no struggle in obtaining materialistic items, so there was no real thrill to them in Ried's eyes, which let him avoid being spoiled. This had also lead him to instead put great priority in intangible assets, like skills, status, and appearance, though he still was very much a normal boy that enjoyed things, albeit an ambitious one.

    His childhood was straightforward. Before puberty, he had no wings or antenna, and so he grew up as if he were any other human kid attending a good school. He was especially high achieving due to the respect of his parents and would put the utmost effort into various goals and academics. Ried was well-liked for being so rounded and mannered, and it also helped that he was still enjoyable to talk to, surprisingly not a robotic stick in the mud. But once puberty hit, he would go to certain lengths to hide his growing antennas and wings, raised believing they were something to hide. He didn't want to be perceived differently and affect his father's image, especially as they were insect hybrids. Ried suddenly started to withdraw from freely socializing with fear of being found out and ruining his family's image.

Due to the private nature of his parents and he himself, he confided in no one. Growing used to being alone, he started to scorn others. He moved to the isolated and slowly expanding Toffee Town as a new post under the company he worked at with the promise of a quiet life working from home, only going out to travel for scheduled appointments, which the train served convenient for. First coming in, the accepting nature of the town had shocked him at first, and he felt a sharp jealousy at how free the other hybrids roamed in public. He desperately wanted that for himself. Through struggle, Ried began to learn to come to terms with who he was. Once he gathered his will, he began reaching out again and letting his wings free for once. It was easy after the first big step, and despite his preconceptions, he received many compliments. The few that regarded him with scorn cut deep into his previous mindset, however he was finally regaining himself from his misconceptions. With time, he became as proud of his hybrid attributes as with any of his others and grew a better mentality, smiling much more often and cracking jokes again.
