Description
Prof. Anton Veeblefitzer, interested in a modern, at that time, swept wing heavy fighter bomber, but with a bi-wing configuration, invented the Ve-853A "Wild Boar".The double wing provided extra lift, which shortened the distance needed for take off.
The robust landing gear allowed for deployment on rough terrain.
Armament was 6 x 30mm cannon, firing forward, with twin cannon defending the tail.
In the central internal bomb bay, 2.5 tons of ordinance could be carried.
Maximum speed fully loaded was 420 mph, but once unloaded, the craft could top 480 mph, which made it almost impossible to be intercepted by prop-driven aircraft.
The bi-wings gave the craft surprising maneuverability, and a skilled pilot could horse the big plane around and challenge the smaller piston engine enemy craft in a dog fight.

Very exciting design! First...third?...has a Avro Vulcan feel to the shape, though the bi-wing idea definitely separates it from the Vulcan's huge delta-wing

Again Prof. Anton Veeblefitzer shows the world his genius, a bi-plane jet bomber. During WW1 the use of bi-planes showed with the extra wing the plane had extra lift and maneuverability. On the negative was more drag that slowed the plane down. With the low power petrol engines they need the extra wing but the extra wing soon was discarded due to more powerful petrol engines. Now with the jet engine the extra drag wasn't a major problem so he was able to create a heavy bomber in a small bomber frame.

A Bi-Wing Jet??? Is the man mad... wait, wait! I can answer that one for myself! The good prof is mad as a hatter on hashish!
I like the Wild Boar, nice camo, good design, very solid, very reliable
Nice cannon, good to know it can plow a row as well as crater the field... a little. 2.5 tons of ordinance is only 10 500lb bombs... but hey, t'is a small bomber... but fast! The maneuverability gives it an edge in precision bombing as well. I bet it's fun to fly too.

Whuuu-Yahhhh!
Whuuu-Yahhhh!
I knew that you'd approve of this insane Prof. Veeb' design!!!!
Let us get together and force one of these small high-tech, 3'D laser manufacturing businesses, to manufacture this totally insane machine upon the world, to fight off, and finally defeat the Zombie-hordes that are currently over-running the multi-billion light-year expanse of the visible universe.
(WOW! And I just came up with that one out of clear unpolluted micro-space!)
(Okay! Okay! I'll quit drinking so much coffee!)

Yeah! Prof. Veeb is the man!
...you are the man too!
Yeah... micronized 3D printed bi-wing jet bombers... to deliver miniaturized explosives directly to the zombie's rotten dried-up brains!
Coffee is an OK way to deliver caffeine to the brain... but I prefer carbonated caffeine delivery systems myself!

Actually.... swapping the main wings with the 'tailplanes'. To create a 'Canard' style machine would look even... more different...:/
Oh! And have the main wheels 'fold' like that previous style you've done! (
)
Heck.... with enough space between the paired wings... would you even need a vertical stabilizing tail surface?
Make the engine nascells even larger/'fatter' and put exhaust pipes along the side. Indicating it's a 'Motor-jet' ( www.angelfire.com/art/jetengin… ) which is Prof Veeblefitzer's way of getting around the resctrictions placed upon him by other, jealous designers.....

That is one mean looking aircraft. Would love to see it perform in a dogfight.
