the mid-late 1930's to provide a powerful, well armed,
bi-wing, dive bomber for the USN.
Well-ll-ll-ll! Didn't happen!
(It was offered to the USN, in 1947, and it was considered
a we-e-e- bit old! [so... no contract!] ).
