Maybe it's the release theΒ Picatinny Β rail to allow easier access of installing / maintaining optics ?

But that seems way too complicated. The rail should have an external release and not an internal one. Anything else is just unnecessary.

this is pretty slick. the weathering looks pretty believable. one tiff though, is that supposed to be the trijicon reflex sight? if it is, its scale in this image might be a bit on the small side. the rfb is already a really small rifle as it is.

Fantastic work! Looking at this in comparison to the real one I have, all the details are spot on. Any chance of seeing a Smith & Wesson M&P-9 service pistol?

Quite interesting weapon design not so sure about the dust/grunge layers on top of the whole gun it seems it's like it was left in a dusty shack for a couple of years.
But other than that I really do like the quality of it! Good job and keep it up!

jimficker In reply to Rafael-De-Jongh [2013-11-04 12:35:23 +0000 UTC]
Cheers, it needs some sort of dirty/dustiness to it otherwise it looks a bit too flat!

You're right on that, try to go with some alternative way of having slight scratches and color variation perhaps? But well either way it sure looks good!
