.....Since it's been out a while now, I'll explain the image. It's a metaphor for a few things, firstly being that originally no one knew that I, the voice of Derpy, was also the artist of Discord Whooves. And I feel Discord Whooves is a lot more true to myself. That happier exterior and the pained, tortured face underneath is supposed to represent myself, tearing off the mask to my true identity.
It also has a bit to do with being in the wrong body.

I'm probably asking something stupid, here, but...are you saying you're the voice of Derpy in the show, from that episode? Or do you mean a certain fan work related to her? If the latter, I really want to hear it; where do I look?! ;3;

I have to say I have read the Discord Whooves Tumbler from start to the latest update, and when I was first reading this It was after I had read bits and pieces of lovestruck Derpy, as well as watched The Doctor and the assistant animated and watched your YouTube channel(I'm not a stalker this was pure coincidence) Just recently I discovered that you created or helped in all of these. While reading I found it... Shocking... how derpy was treated in Discord Whooves. Don't get me wrong I love the story, my favorite on tumbler, I just wanted to know what the motivation for Ditzy's role and the way she is treated. Was this supposed to be a metaphor for your inner self "beating" the outer self helping you show your true colors... Just curious, its 3:30 am and I'm starting to analyze way to much into things. Night and keep up the good work.

It's actually my own conflict with Derpy. As the fan voice, I both love and hate her. The expectations people throw on me, the drama that surrounds her, the fact that in the end she's honestly fairly useless to my career path but all people valued me for before I began drawing the comic... Stuff like that. It's a heavy role to take and people have gone as far as given me death threats for saying I might not play the role in the future.
