Not really a fanart, as the title says it's the map of Asia made using Himaruya's characters.
For more Hetalic Maps go here .
Warning: As Himaruya drew new Asian nations my previous map ended up being incomplete. In the past I was used to update my maps when new characters came out but, due to my old hard disk breaking down, I lost the files for the old map so, after pondering for a while, I decided to completely redo the map. So yeah, this is a new version of the map of Asia.
Notes:
This was made interely using Himaruya's art. With the official characters who were on the cover of Vol 4 you can see:
- the nations South Korea and India whose look is official but whose picture weren't on Vol 4 cover
- the special administrative region Macao whose look is official but whose picture wasn't on Vol 4 cover
- the micronation Niko Niko, whose look is official but whose picture wasn't on Vol 4 cover
- the nation Mongolia who appeared in early sketches and in 'The Story about the Early Days of China and Japan'.
- the region Tibet who appeared in early sketches and in 'The Story about the Early Days of China and Japan'.
- North Korea was mentioned in a note, but, although Himaruya said he had ideas for his design, such design wasn't revealed which is why I only wrote his name.
- Pakistan was mentioned in a Bamboo Thicket entry from 2011/11/30 but his design wasn't revealed which is why I only wrote his name.
- Bengal, now Bangladesh was mentioned in 'China's Age of Exploration' but his design wasn't revealed which is why I only wrote his name.
- In a note it was said Singapore had been designed but his design wasn't revealed which is why I only wrote his name.
- United Arab Emirates was also only mentioned so I only wrote his name.
- Kowloon Walled City was also mentioned but as it's an enclave in Hong Kong I didn't even wrote his/her name.
- Philippines first appears in 371 of Hetalia World Stars
- Indonesia was first seen in chapter 371 of Hetalia World Stars
- Singapore first appears in Chapter 371 of Hetalia World Stars
- Malaysia first appears in Chapter 378 of Hetalia World Stars
- Japan has its own map available here .
- China has its own map available here .
What about the Fujian prefecture and the Japanese Prefecture?
Fujian wasn't really visible in the only pic of him (he's sleeping with his head on his desk so his face isn't visible) as fot the Japanese prefecture they're too many to fit in this map. Hopefully I'll manage to post a map of Japan with them. Japanese prefectures are on Japan's map.
About the characters placed in the map of Asia:
- I included Russia and Turkey as their land is part European and part Asian and Northern Cyprus and Cyprus as they're apparently also considered both (technically their land should be Asian but they're considered Europeans). And yes, they were included in my map of Europe as well.

Fujian wasn't really visible in the only pic of him (he's sleeping with his head on his desk so his face isn't visible). Hence he wasn't included.

And the Kaliningrad this is not Russia? You have incorrectly mapped the Kaliningrad region (Russia is) Kaliningrad is located between Poland and Lithuania. Please do not make such mistakes.

I didn't make the draw of the map nor I checked if its borders are right, I just used a pre-existing map to place the Hetalia characters but the map is a map of Asia, not a map of Russia which is likely why it didn't bother with Kaliningrad, which is in Europe. No idea.
Personally, if I had done the map, as it's supposed to be a map of Asia, I would have coloured in grey the European parts of Russia and Turkey, not to whiten Kalingrad, so as to let just Asia (same for the European map).
Rest assured I know that Kaliningrad belong to Russia (which is why it doesn't figure among the missing states in the Europe's map) and that the idea of leaving it in grey wasn't mine.

Russia, Turkey, Israel, Cyprus (Northern Cyprus)... I'm not sure they were a part of... Asia or Europe.

Russia has a part that belong to Europe and that includes Moscow (if I'm not wrong it reaches the monts Urals), although most of it belong to Asia. Same for Turkey although the part that belong to Europe is really tiny. Cyprus should be considered Asian but its culture is considered European. In short those 3 states are, for a reason or another considered part European and part Asian, which is why I placed them in the map of Asia and Europe.
Israel though is considered Asian and as far as I know there's no debate over this.

Thanks for your knowledge.
By a way, I think even Israel is a part of Asia, but with their culture, it seems close to Europe.

You're welcome!
Well, I don't know that much about Israel culture so I can't really judge though since Israel is clearly in Asian territory I guess this kills any chances it can have to be acknowledged among the European countries.

I guess the Jews had spent more time in Europe than Asia.

I know they did their best to keep their own culture so... I really don't know if they feel more European than Asian. I only know I don't know them enough to judge.
