Not really a fanart, as the title says it's the map of Europe made using Himaruya's characters.

Notes:

This was made interely using Himaruya's art. Among the official characters who were on the cover of Vol 4 you can see:
- the nations Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Northern Cyprus and Cyprus, whose look is official but whose picture wasn't on Vol 4 cover
- the micronations Kugelmugel and Ladonia, whose look is official but whose picture wasn't on Vol 4 cover
- Picardy, a France's region whose look is official but whose picture wasn't on Vol 4 cover
- Saxony, Hesse and Bavaria, German states whose look is official but whose picture wasn't on Vol 4 cover
- Croatia, whose look isn't considered official yet (it's from pictures of a not yet named character which is speculated could be him...). As his look isn't official, in the future it can be revealed as different. If that will be the case I might end up changing this picture.
- Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales' chara design is uncomfirmed and taken from a pic posted on Himaruya's web on 28/Sept/2014.
- Brandenburg and Holstein were also mentioned with no character design given. However I wrote their names in Germany's map.
- Italy has its own map available here .
- Germany has its own map available here .
- France has its own map available here .
- The United Kingdom has its own map available here .
- Albania, whose look isn't official but merely speculated due to a pic appeared on Himaruya's web on 04/Nov/2013
- Portugal, whose look appeared on Himaruya's web for the first time on 14/Nov/2013 and was later confirmed by Hetalia World ☆ Stars.
- Luxembourg chara design was comfirmed on 05/Nov/2013
- Serbia apparently showed up in a small picture on Himaruya web on 16/Nov/2014
- Chzekia and Slovakia's look was given in Hetalia World ☆ Stars - Chapter 85
- Greenland has showed up in a gadget for the anime series on 10/July/2015

About the characters placed in the map of Europe:

- I included Russia and Turkey as their land is part European and part Asian and Northern Cyprus and Cyprus as they're apparently also considered both (technically their land should be Asian but they're considered Europeans). And yes, if I'll manage to make a map of Asia they'll be included in it as well
- Northern Cyprus and Cyprus aren't exactly as the map shows them to be, I moved them closer so as to keep the pic smaller.
- Prussia is included as well as it seems he still lives in Germany... even though a Prussian state doesn't exist anymore.
- Greenland is technically being part of the Kingdom of Denmark and ethnically, politically and culturally associated with Europe... however since physiographically it's a part of the continent of North America his landmass is barely visible in this map. You can better see him in the Americas map available here .

What about Vatican?

It had been speculated that the guy that showed up in Monthly Comic Birz Ep 12 can be Vatican. However, when the episode had been inserted in Hetalia Vol. 6 there was no profile for Vatican/State of the church, differently from what had happened to all the other characters that showed up in the volume, which can be taken as a refusal to confirm his identity or a denial that the old man is a country.
As I also hope the old man doesn't represent the Papal State because I completely disagree with such representation of Vatican for various reasons, that's the only 'not officially confirmed character' I didn't include contenting myself with just writing down his name.
On 22/Dec/2014 another potential Vatican showed up in a strip of Hetalia World☆Stars. This one is different from the previous potential Vatican as he looks young and with a different hairstyle. Again, as the thing was left too vague, I didn't add him. Let's see if in the future he'll get confirmed or not.
