For Legend of Zelda: The Demon Road ContestThe idea was to change the meaning of the Master Sword. Instead of it invoking hope and courage to the viewer, it is meant to discourage and almost disgust them.
I imagine this is when Link is told that he is the Hero of Time, and that he must defeat Ganon, who has regained his memories and gone back to his treacherous ways.
To him, the Master Sword means destroying the one friend he put all his trust in, the one friend who was always there, the one friend who cared.
To him, this sword means destroying himself and everything he’s ever known…
To him, this sword IS death…

Whoa! What exactly is this Demon Road story? I really love the plot of it so far for this specific image! But, the Master Sword being the opposite of what it normally appears to be? I could probably swallow the thought as Link, but if it really came to the sword being death, I guess it wouldn't be that bad^^

I love the demon road! The concepts are wonderful and I am an avid reader (when it was updating). I really like your concept and approve of the idea that it does not mean glory, honor, and all that jazz. People often forget in games like zelda that the hero is a person too with feelings beyond 'I'm doing this because it is right'.
