Description
While working on a Flash related product for work, I got a little frustrated with the New 52 design, which I think overcomplicates the character without offering anything new or interesting. I decided to do my own interpretation of the character that I thought would be simple, practical and iconic.This got me started on a series of DC comics related redesigns, which I thought it might be fun to post here. More coming later. (This one is by far the sloppiest, but I didn't want to skip it just because the later ones improved.)
I wouldn't really call this fan art personally, since I'm not really a big fan of the Flash, but whatever.

I know this comment is a bit evil: This reminds me so much of Quick Man from Mega Man 2. (Maybe Capcom was inspired by him?) Great job!

It does look a bit like Quick Man, doesn't it! I wonder if there is some connection there. Too bad the Flash doesn't have giant lightning boomerangs.
