Short Note: Okay, I decided to do this coloring job because Gen13 was one of my favorite comic books when I was in junior high... not so much for the gratuitous T&A, but more so for the fact that it was humorous and the characters just seemed so real. They were fun and normal kids... who just happened to be superheroes. Looking at Weem's original drawing made me remember how great one of the characters was: Roxy aka Freefall. She was probably one of the first "suicide girls" in the mainstream comics and, inturn, was a popular character without having to be the "industry standard" hottie... her chest was NORMAL for pete's sake! LOL.... anyway, enjoy.

*EDIT*... I fixed the color balance and levels a bit to make the colors a little more vibrant... since photoshop (for some strange reason) is always more vibrant than the final output is. If it's too dark or something, please let me know and I'll put it back.

For the color issues, first I'd calibrate your monitor: [link]
Then, in photoshop, try View > Proof Setup and then select Monitor RGB, then Edit > Color Settings and there should be a list of profiles with your newly calibrated monitor.
That should usually make photoshop match the rest of the things on your computer.

The colour really brings this piece to life.
It's amazingly done, or at least, I think so...All my colourings come out in craptastic solid looking disney-mation stuff.
Anyway, this is unbelievable. Compared to the original, you wouldn't even think it's the same lineart.

my first ever was #7.. and looking back at that brings back some very foggy memories

deathmate black... first appearance of gen 13... when they were just some token badasses in teenage bodies and no personality... but the earliest actual gen 13? #1 mini series. i got all of their issues plus some varients all the way up through #25 of the regular series. i highly recommend any issues before #7 and especially the introductory mini series. those were the best... oh i also got a #1 rare chromium varient signed by jim lee... and a #5 mini series signed by j. scott campbell. i was gen-fanatic as i kid i guess.

wildc.a.t.s. on occasion... some spawn, some witchblade... mainly just gen13 and x-men on marvel. danger girl came out right as i stopped collecting. i guess there was a limited edition of gen13 #25 with a danger girl preview... i didn't have it.

i like the way u colored her skin, its very nice blending, exept the darkest brown, which is not blending at all, and the rest being blended and that brown not being, it makes it look a little flat. u did a great job with the eye, and the black hair and of course the tattoos
