Description
This is my entry for the Fantasy Earth Zero contest, and if you can't tell I went with the Sorcerer idea.I love the idea of spell casting, but I hate that 98% of mages all have staves and ROBES. Agh. So I went with a bit of a different look.
She has two ritual daggers on her thighs, light equipment so she can move easily and be free to wave her arms around without catching her sleeves on fire!

I came back and added some more work to this, not a lot, just some touch ups on the water, the background, a bit of the lighting. I changed the reflections a bit so there isn't that illusion of a vertical line anymore.

I like the fact this hasn't been heavily refined, the painterly and free brush work looks really good. And the colours are brilliant, a great contrast with the orange and blue. I look forward to seeing more of your art :3.

Beautiful. I love the contrasting warm and cool colors. One thing I think that would improve it would probably smudging the colors of the dragon to be more fluid like a real fire seems to look

Thank you for the comment and the suggestion! I'm planning on working a bit more on the background so I'll try a blurred look and see if it plays out okay. The only reason I skipped it is I did a piece not too long ago with blurry fire, and I didnt want the two to look too similar.

The colors and shading in this are very intense and amazing. There's so much detail here. You've filled this artwork with a lot of life. The background is really great. Great design and outfit for her. I love her pose. Nice work.

Luv the dragon and her shiny face tatoo, and that spider-like belt-dagger, and the water, and the circles and and and...
But I still think you should reconsider her position... she's sooo falling off her feet. (oh, and maybe she's a bit too wide in the upper half of the body... that, or the waist is too small... can't really tell...)

haha, thank you for the honest feedback. She is definitely off her center of gravity. I originally drew the sketch from the knees up with no background, so I sort of adapted it as I worked on it. I do appreciate the critique though, thank you!
