Description
Got some requests for a more in depth look at coloring techniques, which have changed for me a lot in the last year or so, so I decided to do a new tutorial. Hope that you guys find it useful.See the finished image here: [link]

Oh definitively, I'm planing on using it on my next assignment.
The clipping mask method is extremely tedious and really doesn't work too well with blending colors. So this method really could be a lifesaver to me

It's always interesting to see how different artists take on the same task of coloring with various methods - or what my instructor says "Solutions to the same problem."

Thank you so much. Absolutely there are dozens of ways to approach a painting. Some people paint all on one layer, some people use hundreds. Some people are all about custom brushes, others use only one, hehe.

lol, thank you so much. I haven't been able to do any new line arts for a while, they take an awful lot of time but I'm glad that people at the CMC enjoy them.
Everyone has their own processes and I remember your paintings are already lovely! The water droplets on that one piece with the girl in water were amazing.
