This is why whenever i draw Diana in a predicament, Doodle is shown blowing a fuse in the background, as Diana being put in harms way is one of his biggest points of contention. He also gets into many altercations with Nickel Spare'O'Dime more often than not.)

RELATIONSHIPS:
(* = Will go into further detail on said characters page later)
Diana Dastardly:
His partner in crime and best friend for life. Diana and Doodle, despite being together as long as they can remember, ironically cannot recall ever meeting one another, nor can anyone else for that matter. Its almost as if Doodle simply showed up one day and it was off to the races from there.
Doodle treats Diana with the upmost care and respect, often seeming fatherly toward her. Likewise, Diana truly loves Doodle, and is willing to go through thick and thin for her felty friend.
Cherry Cream*:
Despite Diana and Cherry's closeness, Doodle is much more thsn judy Diana's hat to our favorite flapper. Doodle and Cherry are both fairly interested the art of Cigar smoking, often taking turns describing the flavor and the various nodes like some uppercrust art snobs.
On very rare occasions, Diana will find Doodle, Cherry, and Nickel hanging out without her, although its not sll that often seeing as Doodle is connected to Diana at the hip.
Nickel*:
The term "Boys will be boys" truly describes these two well. Nickel and Doodle go together like oil and water, and they act like it, too. Often knowing exactly what buttons to push to get each other hot and bothered, the two don't take very long to fight each other tooth and nail.
Despite their constant fighting, the two begrudgingly csnt help but admit they both care for one another, but are incredibly stubborn about expressing it. The two of them do share one common ground: keeping Diana safe no matter what.
Raspberry*:
Being a scientific marvel almost akin to a demonic creation, Raspberry finds herself intrigued by Doodle's very existence. On more than one occasion, Raspberry has found herself exploring the Hammerspace within Doodle in an attempt to map out Hammerspace, and just how Doodle is connected to it. While not having the strongest opinion of Raspberry himself, Diana likes Raspberry, and in turn Doodle likes her, too.
Mister Seltzer*:
Unlike Diana, Doodle is a frequent customer of Larry's, often drinking when Diana does not. Despite alcohol never actually causing him to get drunk, what with his insides being limitless and all, Doodle appreciates a good spirit and its flavor, which Larry is more than happy to indulge in a conversation about it.
Miss Honeydew*:
Miss Honeydew and Doodle arent really the closest of Characters, despite how close Diana and Teresa are. Though thats bit tobsay they dislike one another. Teresa has gone on record saying she finds Doodle to be an oddly cute little fella.
Mephisto with Sin and Virtue*:
To keep it brief--Mephisto and Doodle seem to be aware of one another, despite Diana having basically no recollection of Mephisto prior to meeting him on her adventure. That being said, both of them seem to be hush hush on the matter.
Sherry*:
Similar to Mephisto, Sherry and Doodle seem to have some sort of previously established relationship with one another, despite Diana never recalling meeting Sherry beforehand. Unlike Mephisto who seems to be on the same page as Doodle, Sherry seems ready to spill the beans at any time to an oblivious Diana, much to Doodle's chagrin. She never does, of course, but being that she IS the devil, Doodle's not exactly super trusting of her promises.
Patrick*:
Patrick and Doodle dont have much of a relationship outside of Diana. As such, the two rarely interact with one another.
Valentine*:
Same as Patrick, Doodle and Valentine dont really have a relationship deeper than "both know Diana". Still, Doodle can't help but feel a little sorry seeing Valentine and how often she ends up being beaten and bruised. Like the other Angels (and Devil), Doodle seems to have long known of Valentine's existence prior to meeting her in the story.
Maddie*:
Diana HATES Maddie Meanswell, and as such, Doodle finds himself not being a fan of her, either. At keast, that's what you'd expect to hear, eh? WRONG! Despite all Diana's mean spiritedness, Doodle often finds himself telling Diana he wishes she were a little bit nicer to Maddie, and that she may just be a friend Diana hasn't met, yet. Of course these pep talks go unheard and ignored, but its not like he doesn't try, right?
Much like the Angels (and Devil), Doodle seems to have a pre-established relationship with Maddie, though she is just as oblivious to that fact as Diana.
Hemlock*:
[THIS TEXT DOES NOT EXIST. HEMLOCK DEFINITELY WAS NOT HERE. I--HE... DEFINITELY DIDN'T REMOVE THIS TO PUT ON HIS PAGE ONLY! HAHAHAHAHAHA, LOOOOSERRRR!!!]
Diana DARKO*:
Doodle is unsble to connect with Diana DARKO like with Diana herself, due to Hemlock's influence. As such, he considers DARKO to be an enemy, and when she's loose, is the only time he's willing to beat the daylights out of his best friend.
Summerville, USA**: Doodle is treated rsther poorly by the residents of Summerville, as his very existence seems to be seen as an enigma to everyone. Which is weird, right? Likes, even trees and bushes and hair dryers and stop signs are alive in Diana's world--but a hat is too far?
PARADISO: TBD. No spoilers, for now!

APPEARANCE:
Body: Doodle is the shortest main character in the series, technically speaking. While he can create legs out of nothing, he typically remains as just a hat, standing at roughly 7 inches tall.
His main body is simply a Grey felt Tophat, with a Ribbon trimming that functions as his mouth, as well as two yellow buttons for eyes. On his forehead, Doodle has a small black "D" embroidered on to match Diana's dress embroidery. When he have arms and legs, Doodle has dark tan skin, wears White gloves and brown rubberhose booties.
Emblem:
Doodle's Emblem is...another Doodle! Look at the lil guy...awww

WEAPONS:
MELEE: Doodle Slugger
Heyyy Batta Batta, SWING!
Doodle transforms into a Strong and Sturdy yet lightweight metal bat with a nail in it. Diana's eyes will flash gold if she's sure she'll land a painful, critical strike on an adversary.
*SPECIAL*: Fast Travel
W-W-W-Wowza!!
Doodle sucks everyone inside his Hammerspace, before turning his arms into plane wings and shooting through the sky like a rocket. As long as Diana visited a location before, Doodle can always travel back there.
*SPECIAL*: Runaway Hat
After em!!
Diana's field move, of sorts. Kinda like the Paper airplane form Paper Mario can take, Diana hops into Doodle's Hammerspace pocket and steers him around. Being shorter than Diana, Doodle is capable of running at a faster pace than Diana could, and is much less likely to be caught by an enemy than Diana normally would.

DESCRIPTION:
"Every Cool Anti-Hero has to have a cool Anti-Sidekick, right? Thats what they say, anyways? Huh? Who's they? You know--Oh, oh, hold on a minute, folks. Just got word thst Diana already used this joke to introduce herself. Heh...yeesh...awkward, heh..uhh...Wowza! You kids should Smoke and steal credit cards with skimmers to be funny!! Heh...Hey, make with the description, will ya!?"
Every main character has a best friend, Finn has Jake, Mario his brother Luigi, and Diana has her trusty Hat, Doodle! No matter ehst life throws at her, there isn't a problem Diana can't solve without Doodle--usually with a hefty amount of hitting things with him as a Baseball bat. Yes, when these two dunderheads get together, its always double the trouble and misadventure aplenty. Not that Doodle minds a bit of excitement in his life.
Unlike Diana, Doodle's a lot more reserved and intelligent than one would think for a hat (just don't tell him that--he'll call you a hat racist...). Doodle has vast knowledge about the workings of the Tooniverse itself. How? If he's being honest, he's not quite sure himself, as if something is blocking his brain's ability to remember...anything. where he came from, why hes so smart, why his abilities to transform are virtually endless, heck, the very fact he's intertwined with Hammerspace is too an enigma to him. Still, that doesn't scare Diana one bit. Regardless of when or how they met, Diana knows that Doodle has her best interest in mind, and so she trusts him with her very life.
Doodle isn't necessarily everyone else's best friend, having the closest bond with Diana, but he dies try to be friendly with all of Diana's personal friends, especially Cream, Nickel, Teresa, and eventually, Raspberry. Cream and Doodle in particular are quite fond of hanging out when Diana's busy and smoke Cigars together. Of course, they would snarkily correct you that you don't SMOKE, Cigars, you PUFF them and savor the flavor. Given that Doodle is a Cigar buff and Cream is a rather rich woman of taste, i wouldn't really bother arguing semantics with them...
So, what is Doodle capable of? Virtually anything! From teleportation to weapon transfiguration, to being an infinite storage unit. Doodles any girl's dream come true--a Purse where nothings the limit and everything is there as soon as you need it!
But just what--or WHO is Doodle? Why does he seemingly have vast amounts of infinite power and knowledge of the Tooniverse and Hammerspace? He's honestly not too sure himself. Or at least, he seems to refuse to acknowledge that he's sure. I suppose the only way to find out to to keep Reading these silly descriptions to find out as we keep going!

TRIVIA:
-Mentioned before when Doodle was first conceived, Doodle's based off Felix the Cat's magic bag, which, like Doodle, is an infinite hammerspace that always has just what Felix needs. Not only that, but Doodle is also capable of shape-shifting, just like the Bag.
-Doodle's character can be dest described as a fusion of Courage the cowardly Dog and Monokuma, as horrifying as thst image is.
-Doodle's favorite Cigars are Oaky flavored Cigars with a hint of chocolate that feels smooth in the mouth.
-Doodle has a sweet tooth that only Baklava can satiate. Baklava is a dessert from Ottoman Turkish origin made of puff pastries stuffed with nuts and sweetened with Honey.
-Doodle goes to anger management classes along with Nickel on occasion.
-Doodle has a surprisingly high pain tolerance, being able to be smashed into various things without feeling a lick of it as Diana's weapon.
Doodle's catchphrase was taken from an old Thanksgiving piece of the Diana characters sitting around a table last supper style. Sherry was sporting a virgin Sweater with WOWZA printed on her chest. Why did i pick Wowza? I just find it silly.
-Doodle has an entire Hammerspace world within him that is explorable. This idea was based off of Ricochet's Backpack from the show Mucha Lucha. Raspberry occasionally attempts to map out the inside like some otherworldly cave experience.

Character "Themes":
So, ususally when drawing, i tend to play music that i feel best represents my character im drawing st the moment to feel further connected to them. It may sound silly, but it's one of my favorite ways to getting absorbed in my artwork. So, going forward, i will refer to these songs as a character's "Theme".
These are what id consider Doodle's Theme(s):
Showtime Paul - Charlie Campbell: youtu.be/Vuk11t5ejSk?si=szZv66…
Aka the "You disappoint me" weed PSA song. This song fits Doodle to me specifically because his entire existence is a big mystery within the Diana universe. Who is he? WHAT is he? Where did he come from? These are answers i alresdy know, but choose to keeo vague as i feel it gives Doodle a bit of a mystery to him, and mystery is always fun when creating stories like these! Doodle's entire mystery is perfectly encapsulated in this melody that seems so friendly, yet also alien in origin.
Jack Stauber - Baby Hotline: youtu.be/CY05nUQ4D5M?si=cBdYjA…
"I contend that your drinking eye has never opened. I insist that someone will die -- and i hate hoping. Wishing thst the pills let you cry -- and i hate coping. One day i will go back outside and see her Okay..."
[SPOILERS] As the story progresses, it is eventually discovered that the Tooniverse we are currently viewing is the most recent of many that have previously erase by the main antagonist, Nothing. Doodle, having vast and infinite knowledge of the Tooniverse, has seen the previous Tooniverses Diana and friends previously lived in torn apart, Doodle has a vague idea of who will die, and how. Due to this, Doodle keeps his mind dumbed down as to not keep himself on edge at all times. Who does he suspect will die? Only one way to find out, eh?
Jhfly - Sleepin': youtu.be/jgc7GWOK8Wk?si=KnoS53…
This song just makes me feel so...homey inside, and thats exactly how I'd describe Doodle. He's like a living home away from home, not just for Diana, but for everyone in her party of friendlies. I can picture Doodle on a balcony puffing a fine Oak cigar on a clesr autumn morning to this song. Its honestly quite a treat of a song. If you like it, the original, not lofi version ofnthe song is E preciso perdoar by João Gilberto: youtu.be/cbYq-9rdO6s?si=r6IJOU…
VOICE:
Of course my characters all have specific voices i hear when they speak in my head....yours dont?
When thinking of Doodle's voice, i imagine it being like a less scruffy version of Sumo from Clarence. Where its still scruffy, but, you know, understandable.
