(Teresa is a strong woman more than capable of handling herself, be it from a thief rovving her store or a punk on the street who wants to get a little too handsy with her.

However, if there's one thing Teresa can't stand, its being Alone. And i dont just mean like, single. Teresa has severe anxiety of being alone, which can can cause her to have a nervous breakdown or, if let alone too long, to curl into a ball and silently cry to herself. This is a phobia known as Autophobia, the fear of Being left alone or abandonment. And while her friends bring her plenty of comfort, only Larry is capable of making the feeling of lonliness melt away. To keep her feeling safe, Larry and Teresa often stay up late into the night texting one another.)

Diana Dastardly:
Not only is Diana Teresa's friend, she's one of her valuable customers, always stopping by to stock up on plenty of items. If Diana needs it? Teresa sells it! She's likely to always go to Happy Honeydew's before ever stopping by the local Quik Pit, making her and Teresa exceptionally close since Diana helps keep her lights on.

Diana's always there to be Teresa's shoulder to cry on when needed, and in return Honeydew is more than happy to assist Diana on her adventure when she discovers Larry's life could possibly be in danger due to one of members of the Macguffin gang. Diana's only gripe woth Tea, however, is her obnoxiously obvious will they wont they with Larry.

Doodle:
Miss Honeydew and Doodle arent really the closest of Characters, despite how close Diana and Teresa are. Though thats bit to say they dislike one another. Teresa has gone on record saying she finds Doodle to be an oddly cute little fella.

[[SPOILER]] Doodle, being ♤|€●♡●¿●♡▪︎¥, cares much more for Teresa and Larry than he admits, as he has pain in his heart seeing two beings created to be with one another, their reason for existence, and being refused by the fabric of reality itself pains him. In his eyes, its like owning a pair of lovebirds and keeping them on opposite sides of the room in separate cages. Sure, they're not alone, but they're not together...

Cream:
Cream and Teresa are very close friends due to their upbringing. Having both come from families in holy spaces, Teresa can often find Cream and herself talking up a storm about just about anything. While Teresa is roughly half a decade older than Cream, even she often finds herself crying her woes out to the "group mom", and Cream is more than willing to be her shoulder to cry on.

Raspberry:
Raspberry has been a loyal customer of Happy Honeydew's for several years now, given that Teresa always has exactly what you need in stock. Be it some Motor oil, rope, bombs, if Raspberry needs it, she sells it. Due to this prestablished relationship, Honeydew is already quite friendly with Raspberry, already knowing the 'real' Remora, so to speak.

Teresa sees Raspberry as a little sister type, being nearly a decade older than her.

Jokes aside, Teresa and Larry are always seen with one another, be it after a long day of work, or a vacation on the beach, or even on the cold, far out surface of the Moon, Teresa and Larry are merry companions no matter where they go.

Nickel:
Teresa doesn't necessarily DISLIKE Nickel, but she swears she knew him before, and thats because she does. See, being from incredibly large, wealthy families in Diana's world, Teresa and Nickolai have met on plenty of occasions. In fact, one of the reasons Nickel left home to be who he is now is that his father plans to arrange a marriage between Nickolai and one of the Melon sisters, which simply cant happen, because Diana's his one and only!

Still, no matter how many times he denies it, Teresa SWEARS she knows him from somewhere, which makes her feel uncomfortable.

[SPOILERS] In the story, Diana and Larry must prevent Teresa and Nickel from getting forced into an arranged marriage by their fathers, Larry finding the strength to finally confess his love in front of the entire Melon family
Teresa reciprocates, much to her father's disdain, and Nickel is disowned after confessing his own feelings to a still oblivious Diana.

Mephisto with Sin and Virtue*:
While not having a strong relationship with Mephisto personally, She's quite fond of him after growing close to Larry later in the story, and after he explains to them their origin, She grows to view him as a sort of heavenly protector, falsely believing that because he's an archangel that he must be this iron--no, invincible man in mortal flesh.

Teresa finds Sin to be a bit overwhelming, and finds Virtue to be a spoiled brat with no respect.

Sherry*:
Sherry absolutely loves Larry and Teresa. Two beings built on unyielding love, with the most boring vanilla natures in their lives, but some of the freakiest desires shes ever seen in mortals, they're a sexy tricksters dream come true. Often teasing them about their secret fantasies aloud for the other to hear, Sherry cant help but feel fascinated with the hopless love birds. Despite everything that happened between her and Diantha, Sherry truly does adore the two, perhaps becsuse they represent a relationship ahe and Diantha will never be allowed to have, or perhaps because Sherry herself was once the Angel of unyielding love.

Sherry has a feminine leaning androgynous form she calls Lillith that she manages to attract both Larry and Teresa, despite the two having eyes for one another.

Patrick*:
Having gone to school with Larry and Patrick, Teresa is quite fond of the stoic bore of a man. He's just so...normal, and when you live in a crazy world like Diana's, sometimes normalcy is hard to come by. Patrick in turn is amicable with Teresa, but the two aren't as close as He and Larry are. Teresa, as a fellow lonely heart, seems to notice the tension between Pat and Valentine, and tells them that they would make a cute couple.

Valentine*:
Teresa sees Valentine as kind if a nervous wreck, often mumbling to herself that she's glad she's not that much if a train wreck. Still, as a woman to snother woman, She can tell Valentine is a wreck because of her emotions, and can sense the tension between Patrick and her that Pat refuses to believe exist.

Madame Mocha*:
Teresa and Amelia are like peanut butter and jelly, apples snd pies, straws and berries--The absolute best of girlfriends who are willing to tell each other anything and everything, and always be there for one another.

at least, that's how Teresa sees it...

In reality, Mocha despises Teresa's guts, and is determined to kill her one day and have Larry all to herself. Amelia, due to her rather poor upbringing, often uses Teresa's kind heart to exploit her for money.

Maddie*:
Honeydew is an incredibly loving doul, capable of making even the most evil of people, like Mocha, feel welcomed in her presence.

Teresa doesnt feel this when she looks at Maddie.

Instead, she feels what she believes to be...jealousy? A jealousy so palpable she can physically feel it. She's not sure why she feels that way, seeing how Maddie is nothing but kind when she speaks, but its just a woman's intuition. She's just not right...

At the Christmas party incident, Maddie happens to bring up Mocha in a way that somehow Shatters Teresa's perception of her supposed best friend. She confronts Mocha about this when Mocha makes a rsther cruel joke at her expense, triggering Mocha to finally snap and reveal her intentions, preparing to kill Honeydew in front of everyone for the sake of her love.

Hemlock*:
After an encounter with Hemlock where Larry and Teresa are separated, Hemlock takes advantage of Honeydew's audiophobia and, in her moment of weakness, possesses her much like Diana DARKO. [[SPOILERS]] Unlike DARKO, who becomes her own person later on, DARKO Honeydew is just a temporary boss idea.

Summerville, USA**:
Originally from Winterburg, Teresa moved to Summerville to work at her convenience store, Happy Honeydew's. She works day in day out at the quaint little shop in an attempt to show her father she is her own woman who doesnt want any oart of the family company. Regardless, he has his plans with his precious daughter, making her time with Larry ever ticking down...

Teresa is quite tall, even for "tallie" standards. Even without her high heels, she stands at a whopping 196.12 cm--thats 6 foot 6 inches, American bros. Safe to say shes one of the tallest members of Diana's friends--well, the Mortal ones, at least...

Similar to Larry, Teresa has an average Caucasian complexion, with relatively shiny skin. Teresa has fluffy, shoulder length Mint green hair, as well as large coral pink eyes. Under her left eye is a noticeable beauty mark, and her cheeks are a plush pink at all times. Her lipstick is a deep, glossy wine red color.

Clothing/Accessories:

Teresa's main outfit consists of a Orange cream colored turtleneck/dress hybrid, with puffy short sleeves and cut at her thighs. On the skirt portion of her dress is a decorative Heart embroidered along the entire outside of her dress. She wears a black lesther belt with her family gemstone, an emerald Melon, acting as a decorative belt buckle.

Under her dress, Teresa wears a strawberry pink Bra and matching Bloomers. On her feet, She wears a pair of shiny black designer heels, each with large Heart shaped pendants fastened on. These shoes cost approximately $8,000 monies.

Teresa wears white silk gloves, with frills on the wrist and small hearts on the knuckles.

Emblem: Teresa's emblem is the logo to Happy Honeydew's; its a Chibi smiling Honeydew melon that makes little hearts pop out with every wink.

A completely optional, but special field skill Diana can take advantage of is Honeydew's customer loyalty program. For a measly $100 monies, Diana can get everything from Happy Honeydew's for roughly 50% off for the rest of the story. In Diana's world, there are a few notable restaurants and along the trip around the globe theres one convenience store that they ususally stop at: Quik Pit. With their prices being slightly higher than average, this makes Honeydew's store the go-to destination for cheap restocking.

Never one to be a damsel in distress, Teresa is more than up to the task of having to defend herself from creeps and thugs alike. Be it store robbers, creepy barstool gropers, or just one of her own friends giving her a real hard time, Teresa is more that happy with take a wack at a skull anywhere, anytime.

Her caviat, however, is that she cannot attack at range, meaning any enemy not on the ground is serious trouble for her.that being said, her reliable frying pan is also capable of defence. If she parries at the right moment, she can damsge an enemy as they attack her.

Among all the different species of people in Diana's world, be them talking flowers, or average humans, or sometimes even giant bugs, the denizens of the Tooniverse come in various shapes, sizes, and heights. Theres the average schmoes like Diana and co, standing at roughly 5 feet tall, then there's the 'Tallies' toon who stand over the rest naturally with tall bodies.

Teresa is one such Tallie. Curvy hips, luscious lips, and a big bust to boot, Teresa is considered a perfect 10 by many of the men of Summerville, and it should be no surprise. See, Teresa's name isn't just some boob joke, you sickos--She's a Melon.

As in, THE Melons.

As in, The Melon family responsible for the Melon phone, Melonpad, MelonTV, Melon-book, and various other lige chsnging products, Teresa's family is one of the three head families of Winterburg, sharing the city with The Calzones and the Sardinskis.

Teresa is the Second oldest daughter of Charles Winter Melon and Wanda Water Melon, the Younger sister of scrooge Mary Beth Cantaloupe Melon, and the older sister of feminine Emmet Cucumber Melon, young pilot Ramona Musk Melon, smug and silent Irene Moon Melon, and Infant Patrick King Melon.

Yeah, safe to say, her family is quite large. And as such, very influential. Thats what Charles wants, at least. He wishes for Teresa's business venture to fail so that she has to move back home and be prepared to marry into the Sardinski family. In fsct, her room has been left exactly as it eas when she left home to open up Happy Honeydew's, in case she ever comes crawling back.

Teresa truly loves her job, despite how unrewarding it really is. This is because regardless of money, she gets to spend every dingle dsy with the secret love of her life, Larry Seltzer, at his bar that he conveniently opened right next door to her shop. When she closes up shop, she immediately heads over and spends her nights talking to Larry at Ragtime Soda Bar. When the teo go their separate ways fir the night, she continues to talk to Larry at all times on the ohone, texting the night away with him in order to feel less alone. Its no secret to everyone that Teresa might just want Larry in her guts, and vice versa. So why doesnt she make a move already if its so obvious they belong together?

Oh, if only it were that easy, dear viewer..

See, [[SPOILERS]] Larry and Teresa are not just love struck heartthrobs. In fact, Larry and Teresa are Diantha's first mortal creations. Similar to Adam and Eve without the silly snake and fruits, Larry and Teresa are the embodiment of pure, unbreakable love, which for mortals, hell, for herself even, should be an impossibility. Due to the power of their love, they have become a target for Nothing, attempting to erase them in from of Diantha's eyes before erasing her too. To ptevent these two from suffering, Diantha created a failsafe of sorts. The lovers would be prevented from ever getting to embrace, or become romantic, and if their love ever shattered the universe's boundaries, eventually one of the two will die, triggering the end of the world and a complete refresh of the Tooniverse down to the artstyle. This is why as painfully obvious as it is to everyone, The two of them can't admit to the other how they feel, despite so desperately wanting to. [[END OF SPOILERS]].

Upon Diana helping Teresa and Nickel break out of their arranged marriage, Teresa decides to travel the world with her on her adventure to stop Hemlock and the Macguffin gang, leaving Happy Honeydew's to sadly close down...

In return for helping them with their family troubles, Teresa's siblings take turns watching the shop for her throughout the week days.

TRIVIA:

-Teresa's birthday, July 11th, is international 7/11 day, aka "free slurpee day" in America. Being the shopkeep of a convenience store, this was a silly nod to her occupation. Thats why she's considered a "holiday" baby.

-Teresa's shop is one of the few points if interests that are incredibly important to Diana throughout her journey. After she leaves to join Diana on her globetrotting adventure, the shop will remain open with Cucumber, Musk, Cantaloupe and Moon Melon will randomy be running the shop for Teresa in her absence.

-Teresa was based on the following characters:

•Betty Boop (mainly her large, dinner plate eyes, puffy lips, and short cut dress)

•Princes Peach (personality and mannerisms, particularly the Peach from the Mario rpg games and Super Princes peach. The peach that wasnt always a damsel in distress.)

•Francine Smith (American Dad) for her libido :^)

-Teresa's favorite BOOK is...okay, quick, while the normal people aren't paying attention, listen up perverts in the audience!:

Her chest is a Double D cup, her assets? Incredibly shapely. And her shoe size? US Women's 8. G-spot? Center of her foot. Any other questions? Alright, Get outta here!!

-Teresa is an incredibly talented cook, particularly the craft of making Subs. Her Italian Subs are apparently so good, Larry will refuse to eat an Italian sub that wasn't made by her. Her personal favorite sub to make are toasted Cubanos, made with seared, spicy pulled pork, smoked genova Salami, fresh deli pickles cut into chips, and topped off with melted swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and her home made spicy honey mustard sauce.

-Teresa, being the daughter of the Diana universe equivalent of Steve Jobs, is from a family who almost all exclusively use Melon products, be it tvs, their desktops, or, obviously, their phones. You will notice Teresa's phone is the only one in her family's whose is an android based phone, specifically a Samsung Galaxy phone. Teresa, having a rather tumultuous relationship with her father, keeps her Melon phone charged and on her desk at home, pretending shes too busy with work to pick up.

-Happy Honeydew's itself is basednon the Japanese convenience store Family Mart, as well as 7-Eleven. However, given that Diana's world is a wacky cartoony one, many things such as Bombs, The key to a locked room in another city, a new pair of gloves--If you Need it, then she sells it!

-Teresa and Larry are both considered vanilla by all accounts from their friends, given their eternal will they wont they makes them seem like the idea of even holding hands being too much for them. In reality, Teresa and Larry are incredibly touch starved individuals who desperately crave one another.
They're freaks is what im trying to say. Yes, THOSE kind of freaks. Teresa is a bit of a rough womsn, and likes being choked, as well as being a "pillow princess". She is also more than happy to indulge larry in his fetish for being stepped on. (Hey, Guys? Im not gonna warn you again. PG-13! >)

-Teresa is so trusting and kind at heart that she genuinely doesnt realize her best friend, Amelia Mocha, actually hates her, and reeeeeally wants to unalive her. She does, however, know that she likes Larry, which does slightly bother Teresa. However, due to Amelia's upbringing and ability to always make Teresa feel guilty, she says nothing of it.

-[[SPOILERS!!!]] Larry and Teresa are the Diana equivalent of Adam and Eve, being Diantha's first human creations. Theres no myth of the Apple in Diana's universe. Instead, Diantha created the two of them after her broken relationships with Cherish, her first love, and Mephistopheles, her second love. With a heavy heart, Diantha created the two to be the purist, truest love imaginable. The two do not fight, they do not disagree, they do not mistreat nor mistrust. They are true love in human form, and Nothing wishes to see them erased, preferably in front of Diantha in order to watch its prey suffer before eating it.
In the past few timelines that have been erased by Nothing, The end of the universe has always been signaled by Teresa and Larry finally breaking through the whims of the universe, getting together. They may be unaware of it, but ultimately, they subconsciously know that if they ever get together, something bad might happen. This is why their will they wont they is so obnoxious to everyone. Everyone obviously knows they're perfect for each other--themselves included.

-Before Diana: Teresa, Larry, Amelia, Patrick/Paul, and Lovestruck were the original group of friends for a story i had planned with them for an "episode" about their high school years. The plot parodys cartoons like "As told by Ginger" or shows like "Dawson's Creek".

-In almost every Tooniverse, Diana, Remora and Teresa are usually the main trio of protagonists, rather than Diana, Cream, and Nickel. As a major example, in [SPOILERS] the first Tooniverse Diana was born into as a mortal was a Soul Reaper lookalike universe where Diana, Remmie, and Teresa were school friends in the world of Soul Reaper. Im this Universe, she is Popular girl Teresa Melbrook at the girl's academy. Despite her social status, she was still close friends with DD and Rem, although she was not a Reaper like the two of them. In this Tooniverse, Larry is killed while on a date with Teresa in front of her by a corrupted Amelia in from of Teresa's eyes, triggering the arrival of Nothing and the end of the Tooniverse.

-Teresa has a love for all foods aweet and spicy. Be it Hot Honey Chicken, Ragin' Hot Leopards, Chili Tortas, you name it. Funnily enough, she has an aversion to all foods plain and flavorless, especially white rice and breads.

Character "Themes":

So, ususally when drawing, i tend to play music that i feel best represents my character im drawing st the moment to feel further connected to them. It may sound silly, but it's one of my favorite ways to getting absorbed in my artwork. So, going forward, i will refer to these songs as a character's "Theme".

Usually, while picturing her being a shopkeep in a game like setting, i like to imagine her standing like Princes peach does on the bottom touch screen of Super Princess Peach, happily moving side to side as she waits for you to finish shopping.

Like Larry, a lot of Teresa's themes are centered around love and love songs. This is one such song from a band i hope youre comfortable seeing pop up, cause their tunes are practically the backbone of my character's symbolisms. This song in particular is how i imagine Teresa sees Larry, her seeing him as this massive heartthrob in human form, much like the Robot falling for the human cosplay girl in the music video. She wants Larry to sweep her off her feet, and mentally take her away from everything troubling the two of them and just fly away.

First off, before i say anything about my lame ass ocs...please, viewer, if you like lofi beats, support Karma Keyz. I met him on a meme site a few years back and heard this song for the first time and was hooked. Something about his waybif making music just makes it feel like a nostalgia trip for music youve never heard before. I genuinely love it.

Now, man, THIS song is such an amazing thing to get lost in while thinking of Teresa and Larry. Ehen i hear this song, from beginning to end, i imagine an in my head amv where it shows the two of them taking pictures of themselves every day like those "taking a picture of myself wvery day for X years" videos from years back. Inimsgine them growing up through the mv as the pictures fly on by tonshow them gradually begin to fall in love to the point they break the barrier that's between them. This song is aich a rush of feel good feeling that makes me wonder hiw amazing it must feel to fallbfor and marry a life long childhood friend. Must be nice being that young and in love~

However, if there's one thing Teresa can't stand, its being Alone. And i dont just mean like, single. Teresa has severe anxiety of being alone, which can can cause her to have a nervous breakdown or, if let alone too long, to curl into a ball and silently cry to herself. This is a phobia known as Autophobia, the fear of Being left alone or abandonment. And while her friends bring her plenty of comfort, only Larry is capable of making the feeling of lonliness melt away. To keep her feeling safe, Larry and Teresa often stay up late into the night texting one another.)

Not only is Diana Teresa's friend, she's one of her valuable customers, always stopping by to stock up on plenty of items. If Diana needs it? Teresa sells it! She's likely to always go to Happy Honeydew's before ever stopping by the local Quik Pit, making her and Teresa exceptionally close since Diana helps keep her lights on.

Diana's always there to be Teresa's shoulder to cry on when needed, and in return Honeydew is more than happy to assist Diana on her adventure when she discovers Larry's life could possibly be in danger due to one of members of the Macguffin gang. Diana's only gripe woth Tea, however, is her obnoxiously obvious will they wont they with Larry.

Doodle:
Miss Honeydew and Doodle arent really the closest of Characters, despite how close Diana and Teresa are. Though thats bit to say they dislike one another. Teresa has gone on record saying she finds Doodle to be an oddly cute little fella.

[[SPOILER]] Doodle, being ♤|€●♡●¿●♡▪︎¥, cares much more for Teresa and Larry than he admits, as he has pain in his heart seeing two beings created to be with one another, their reason for existence, and being refused by the fabric of reality itself pains him. In his eyes, its like owning a pair of lovebirds and keeping them on opposite sides of the room in separate cages. Sure, they're not alone, but they're not together...

Cream:
Cream and Teresa are very close friends due to their upbringing. Having both come from families in holy spaces, Teresa can often find Cream and herself talking up a storm about just about anything. While Teresa is roughly half a decade older than Cream, even she often finds herself crying her woes out to the "group mom", and Cream is more than willing to be her shoulder to cry on.

Raspberry:
Raspberry has been a loyal customer of Happy Honeydew's for several years now, given that Teresa always has exactly what you need in stock. Be it some Motor oil, rope, bombs, if Raspberry needs it, she sells it. Due to this prestablished relationship, Honeydew is already quite friendly with Raspberry, already knowing the 'real' Remora, so to speak.

Teresa sees Raspberry as a little sister type, being nearly a decade older than her.

Nickel:
Teresa doesn't necessarily DISLIKE Nickel, but she swears she knew him before, and thats because she does. See, being from incredibly large, wealthy families in Diana's world, Teresa and Nickolai have met on plenty of occasions. In fact, one of the reasons Nickel left home to be who he is now is that his father plans to arrange a marriage between Nickolai and one of the Melon sisters, which simply cant happen, because Diana's his one and only!

Still, no matter how many times he denies it, Teresa SWEARS she knows him from somewhere, which makes her feel uncomfortable.

[SPOILERS] In the story, Diana and Larry must prevent Teresa and Nickel from getting forced into an arranged marriage by their fathers, Larry finding the strength to finally confess his love in front of the entire Melon family
Teresa reciprocates, much to her father's disdain, and Nickel is disowned after confessing his own feelings to a still oblivious Diana.

Mephisto with Sin and Virtue*:
While not having a strong relationship with Mephisto personally, She's quite fond of him after growing close to Larry later in the story, and after he explains to them their origin, She grows to view him as a sort of heavenly protector, falsely believing that because he's an archangel that he must be this iron--no, invincible man in mortal flesh.

Teresa finds Sin to be a bit overwhelming, and finds Virtue to be a spoiled brat with no respect.

Sherry*:
Sherry absolutely loves Larry and Teresa. Two beings built on unyielding love, with the most boring vanilla natures in their lives, but some of the freakiest desires shes ever seen in mortals, they're a sexy tricksters dream come true. Often teasing them about their secret fantasies aloud for the other to hear, Sherry cant help but feel fascinated with the hopless love birds. Despite everything that happened between her and Diantha, Sherry truly does adore the two, perhaps becsuse they represent a relationship ahe and Diantha will never be allowed to have, or perhaps because Sherry herself was once the Angel of unyielding love.

Sherry has a feminine leaning androgynous form she calls Lillith that she manages to attract both Larry and Teresa, despite the two having eyes for one another.

Patrick*:
Having gone to school with Larry and Patrick, Teresa is quite fond of the stoic bore of a man. He's just so...normal, and when you live in a crazy world like Diana's, sometimes normalcy is hard to come by. Patrick in turn is amicable with Teresa, but the two aren't as close as He and Larry are. Teresa, as a fellow lonely heart, seems to notice the tension between Pat and Valentine, and tells them that they would make a cute couple.

Valentine*:
Teresa sees Valentine as kind if a nervous wreck, often mumbling to herself that she's glad she's not that much if a train wreck. Still, as a woman to snother woman, She can tell Valentine is a wreck because of her emotions, and can sense the tension between Patrick and her that Pat refuses to believe exist.

Madame Mocha*:
Teresa and Amelia are like peanut butter and jelly, apples snd pies, straws and berries--The absolute best of girlfriends who are willing to tell each other anything and everything, and always be there for one another.

at least, that's how Teresa sees it...

In reality, Mocha despises Teresa's guts, and is determined to kill her one day and have Larry all to herself. Amelia, due to her rather poor upbringing, often uses Teresa's kind heart to exploit her for money.

Maddie*:
Honeydew is an incredibly loving doul, capable of making even the most evil of people, like Mocha, feel welcomed in her presence.

Teresa doesnt feel this when she looks at Maddie.

Instead, she feels what she believes to be...jealousy? A jealousy so palpable she can physically feel it. She's not sure why she feels that way, seeing how Maddie is nothing but kind when she speaks, but its just a woman's intuition. She's just not right...

At the Christmas party incident, Maddie happens to bring up Mocha in a way that somehow Shatters Teresa's perception of her supposed best friend. She confronts Mocha about this when Mocha makes a rsther cruel joke at her expense, triggering Mocha to finally snap and reveal her intentions, preparing to kill Honeydew in front of everyone for the sake of her love.

Hemlock*:
After an encounter with Hemlock where Larry and Teresa are separated, Hemlock takes advantage of Honeydew's audiophobia and, in her moment of weakness, possesses her much like Diana DARKO. [[SPOILERS]] Unlike DARKO, who becomes her own person later on, DARKO Honeydew is just a temporary boss idea.

Summerville, USA**:
Originally from Winterburg, Teresa moved to Summerville to work at her convenience store, Happy Honeydew's. She works day in day out at the quaint little shop in an attempt to show her father she is her own woman who doesnt want any oart of the family company. Regardless, he has his plans with his precious daughter, making her time with Larry ever ticking down...

Teresa is quite tall, even for "tallie" standards. Even without her high heels, she stands at a whopping 196.12 cm--thats 6 foot 6 inches, American bros. Safe to say shes one of the tallest members of Diana's friends--well, the Mortal ones, at least...

Similar to Larry, Teresa has an average Caucasian complexion, with relatively shiny skin. Teresa has fluffy, shoulder length Mint green hair, as well as large coral pink eyes. Under her left eye is a noticeable beauty mark, and her cheeks are a plush pink at all times. Her lipstick is a deep, glossy wine red color.

Clothing/Accessories:

Teresa's main outfit consists of a Orange cream colored turtleneck/dress hybrid, with puffy short sleeves and cut at her thighs. On the skirt portion of her dress is a decorative Heart embroidered along the entire outside of her dress. She wears a black lesther belt with her family gemstone, an emerald Melon, acting as a decorative belt buckle.

Under her dress, Teresa wears a strawberry pink Bra and matching Bloomers. On her feet, She wears a pair of shiny black designer heels, each with large Heart shaped pendants fastened on. These shoes cost approximately $8,000 monies.

Teresa wears white silk gloves, with frills on the wrist and small hearts on the knuckles.

Emblem: Teresa's emblem is the logo to Happy Honeydew's; its a Chibi smiling Honeydew melon that makes little hearts pop out with every wink.

For a measly $100 monies, Diana can get everything from Happy Honeydew's for roughly 50% off for the rest of the story. In Diana's world, there are a few notable restaurants and along the trip around the globe theres one convenience store that they ususally stop at: Quik Pit. With their prices being slightly higher than average, this makes Honeydew's store the go-to destination for cheap restocking.

Never one to be a damsel in distress, Teresa is more than up to the task of having to defend herself from creeps and thugs alike. Be it store robbers, creepy barstool gropers, or just one of her own friends giving her a real hard time, Teresa is more that happy with take a wack at a skull anywhere, anytime.

Her caviat, however, is that she cannot attack at range, meaning any enemy not on the ground is serious trouble for her.that being said, her reliable frying pan is also capable of defence. If she parries at the right moment, she can damsge an enemy as they attack her.

Among all the different species of people in Diana's world, be them talking flowers, or average humans, or sometimes even giant bugs, the denizens of the Tooniverse come in various shapes, sizes, and heights. Theres the average schmoes like Diana and co, standing at roughly 5 feet tall, then there's the 'Tallies' toon who stand over the rest naturally with tall bodies.

Teresa is one such Tallie. Curvy hips, luscious lips, and a big bust to boot, Teresa is considered a perfect 10 by many of the men of Summerville, and it should be no surprise. See, Teresa's name isn't just some boob joke, you sickos--She's a Melon.

As in, THE Melons.

As in, The Melon family responsible for the Melon phone, Melonpad, MelonTV, Melon-book, and various other lige chsnging products, Teresa's family is one of the three head families of Winterburg, sharing the city with The Calzones and the Sardinskis.

Teresa is the Second oldest daughter of Charles Winter Melon and Wanda Water Melon, the Younger sister of scrooge Mary Beth Cantaloupe Melon, and the older sister of feminine Emmet Cucumber Melon, young pilot Ramona Musk Melon, smug and silent Irene Moon Melon, and Infant Patrick King Melon.

Yeah, safe to say, her family is quite large. And as such, very influential. Thats what Charles wants, at least. He wishes for Teresa's business venture to fail so that she has to move back home and be prepared to marry into the Sardinski family. In fsct, her room has been left exactly as it eas when she left home to open up Happy Honeydew's, in case she ever comes crawling back.

Teresa truly loves her job, despite how unrewarding it really is. This is because regardless of money, she gets to spend every dingle dsy with the secret love of her life, Larry Seltzer, at his bar that he conveniently opened right next door to her shop. When she closes up shop, she immediately heads over and spends her nights talking to Larry at Ragtime Soda Bar. When the teo go their separate ways fir the night, she continues to talk to Larry at all times on the ohone, texting the night away with him in order to feel less alone. Its no secret to everyone that Teresa might just want Larry in her guts, and vice versa. So why doesnt she make a move already if its so obvious they belong together?

Oh, if only it were that easy, dear viewer..

See, [[SPOILERS]] Larry and Teresa are not just love struck heartthrobs. In fact, Larry and Teresa are Diantha's first mortal creations. Similar to Adam and Eve without the silly snake and fruits, Larry and Teresa are the embodiment of pure, unbreakable love, which for mortals, hell, for herself even, should be an impossibility. Due to the power of their love, they have become a target for Nothing, attempting to erase them in from of Diantha's eyes before erasing her too. To ptevent these two from suffering, Diantha created a failsafe of sorts. The lovers would be prevented from ever getting to embrace, or become romantic, and if their love ever shattered the universe's boundaries, eventually one of the two will die, triggering the end of the world and a complete refresh of the Tooniverse down to the artstyle. This is why as painfully obvious as it is to everyone, The two of them can't admit to the other how they feel, despite so desperately wanting to. [[END OF SPOILERS]].

Upon Diana helping Teresa and Nickel break out of their arranged marriage, Teresa decides to travel the world with her on her adventure to stop Hemlock and the Macguffin gang, leaving Happy Honeydew's to sadly close down...

In return for helping them with their family troubles, Teresa's siblings take turns watching the shop for her throughout the week days.

-Teresa's birthday, July 11th, is international 7/11 day, aka "free slurpee day" in America. Being the shopkeep of a convenience store, this was a silly nod to her occupation. Thats why she's considered a "holiday" baby.

-Teresa's shop is one of the few points if interests that are incredibly important to Diana throughout her journey. After she leaves to join Diana on her globetrotting adventure, the shop will remain open with Cucumber, Musk, Cantaloupe and Moon Melon will randomy be running the shop for Teresa in her absence.

-Teresa was based on the following characters:

•Betty Boop (mainly her large, dinner plate eyes, puffy lips, and short cut dress)

•Princes Peach (personality and mannerisms, particularly the Peach from the Mario rpg games and Super Princes peach. The peach that wasnt always a damsel in distress.)

-Teresa is an incredibly talented cook, particularly the craft of making Subs. Her Italian Subs are apparently so good, Larry will refuse to eat an Italian sub that wasn't made by her. Her personal favorite sub to make are toasted Cubanos, made with seared, spicy pulled pork, smoked genova Salami, fresh deli pickles cut into chips, and topped off with melted swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and her home made spicy honey mustard sauce.

-Teresa, being the daughter of the Diana universe equivalent of Steve Jobs, is from a family who almost all exclusively use Melon products, be it tvs, their desktops, or, obviously, their phones. You will notice Teresa's phone is the only one in her family's whose is an android based phone, specifically a Samsung Galaxy phone. Teresa, having a rather tumultuous relationship with her father, keeps her Melon phone charged and on her desk at home, pretending shes too busy with work to pick up.

-Happy Honeydew's itself is basednon the Japanese convenience store Family Mart, as well as 7-Eleven. However, given that Diana's world is a wacky cartoony one, many things such as Bombs, The key to a locked room in another city, a new pair of gloves--If you Need it, then she sells it!

-Teresa and Larry are both considered vanilla by all accounts from their friends, given their eternal will they wont they makes them seem like the idea of even holding hands being too much for them. In reality, Teresa and Larry are incredibly touch starved individuals who desperately crave one another.
They're freaks is what im trying to say. Yes, THOSE kind of freaks. Teresa is a bit of a rough womsn, and likes being choked, as well as being a "pillow princess". She is also more than happy to indulge larry in his fetish for being stepped on. (Hey, Guys? Im not gonna warn you again. PG-13! >)

-Teresa is so trusting and kind at heart that she genuinely doesnt realize her best friend, Amelia Mocha, actually hates her, and reeeeeally wants to unalive her. She does, however, know that she likes Larry, which does slightly bother Teresa. However, due to Amelia's upbringing and ability to always make Teresa feel guilty, she says nothing of it.

-[[SPOILERS!!!]] Larry and Teresa are the Diana equivalent of Adam and Eve, being Diantha's first human creations. Theres no myth of the Apple in Diana's universe. Instead, Diantha created the two of them after her broken relationships with Cherish, her first love, and Mephistopheles, her second love. With a heavy heart, Diantha created the two to be the purist, truest love imaginable. The two do not fight, they do not disagree, they do not mistreat nor mistrust. They are true love in human form, and Nothing wishes to see them erased, preferably in front of Diantha in order to watch its prey suffer before eating it.
In the past few timelines that have been erased by Nothing, The end of the universe has always been signaled by Teresa and Larry finally breaking through the whims of the universe, getting together. They may be unaware of it, but ultimately, they subconsciously know that if they ever get together, something bad might happen. This is why their will they wont they is so obnoxious to everyone. Everyone obviously knows they're perfect for each other--themselves included.

-Before Diana: Teresa, Larry, Amelia, Patrick/Paul, and Lovestruck were the original group of friends for a story i had planned with them for an "episode" about their high school years. The plot parodys cartoons like "As told by Ginger" or shows like "Dawson's Creek".

-In almost every Tooniverse, Diana, Remora and Teresa are usually the main trio of protagonists, rather than Diana, Cream, and Nickel. As a major example, in [SPOILERS] the first Tooniverse Diana was born into as a mortal was a Soul Reaper lookalike universe where Diana, Remmie, and Teresa were school friends in the world of Soul Reaper. Im this Universe, she is Popular girl Teresa Melbrook at the girl's academy. Despite her social status, she was still close friends with DD and Rem, although she was not a Reaper like the two of them. In this Tooniverse, Larry is killed while on a date with Teresa in front of her by a corrupted Amelia in from of Teresa's eyes, triggering the arrival of Nothing and the end of the Tooniverse.

-Teresa has a love for all foods aweet and spicy. Be it Hot Honey Chicken, Ragin' Hot Leopards, Chili Tortas, you name it. Funnily enough, she has an aversion to all foods plain and flavorless, especially white rice and breads.

So, ususally when drawing, i tend to play music that i feel best represents my character im drawing st the moment to feel further connected to them. It may sound silly, but it's one of my favorite ways to getting absorbed in my artwork. So, going forward, i will refer to these songs as a character's "Theme".

Like Larry, a lot of Teresa's themes are centered around love and love songs. This is one such song from a band i hope youre comfortable seeing pop up, cause their tunes are practically the backbone of my character's symbolisms. This song in particular is how i imagine Teresa sees Larry, her seeing him as this massive heartthrob in human form, much like the Robot falling for the human cosplay girl in the music video. She wants Larry to sweep her off her feet, and mentally take her away from everything troubling the two of them and just fly away.

Inimsgine them growing up through the mv as the pictures fly on by tonshow them gradually begin to fall in love to the point they break the barrier that's between them.
