•Sun exposure (Ironic, given that She's technically a Mermaid, but Raspberry has incredibly sensitive skin that burns within minutes of being out without some sort of protection. Due to this, She's much more of an indoor person.)

•Raspberries (Despite her namesake, Raspberry has never even tried a Raspberry before. Not since her parents discovered she was deathly allergic to them back when she was a baby. Due to this, Raspberry can be threatened into submission with a bowl of the sour berries...)

Diana Dastardly:

Diana is Raspberry Tart's arch nemesis, the yang to her yin, and must be dealt with at all costs! ...Why? Well, she wishes she could tell you herself, but even Raspberry's unsure. You ever just see a person and get thst deeling you dislike them before you even know them? Yeah, that would be a good way to place her feelings down into words. Raspberry simply despises everything about Diana's character, feeling SHE can do whatever it is Diana's doing better...whatever it is she does.

Initially, Diana seems unaware of Raspberry's existence, and when she does formally meet her, it takes her a few tries before she stops calling her Frazz larry...or Rats Mary...you get it.

Their relationship is a lot like late 2000s era SpongeBob and Squidward, where Diana likes Raspberry, and Raspberry begrudgingly begins to grow closer to Diana with time, even if she has to take a few potshots to the face to get there.

Overall throughout the story, Diana and Raspberry grow to becomd genuine besties who go through everything together--the end of the world covered in that whole everything clause!

Doodle: Raspberry finds Doodle to be akin to either a Scientific miracle, or a demonic creation. Having discovered the magical, backrooms like Hammerspace in one ofnher studies, Raspberry stubmbles out of Doodle and onto Raspberry's head, starting their first face to face encounter (Raspberry had been observing Diana from afar most of the time).

On numerous occasions, Raspberry has explored inside Doodle's Hammerspace in an attempt to understand his connection between Hammerspace and the space itself, as a universe where everything and anything you need is there at a moments notice would be Nobel prize winning. Despite Doodle's seeming disinterest in Raspberry or her Scientific endeavors, he enjoys her company, and since Diana likes her s lot, Doodle has no ill will towards her.

Cream:

Cream, being the motherly girl she is, is able to cut through Raspberry's persona like a hot knife through butter. As such, Whenever she senses Raspberry being smug or rude in an attempt to keep her distance from whom she considers "Diana's friends, not mine", Cream is usually quick to shut her down and, in a firm yet obviously well intentioned way, bresk through her wallas and get her to loosen up with the group bit by bit, getting her to accept that she isn't a friendless loner anymore.

This not only shocks Raspberry to her core that someone so "uneducated " could pick her apart like some professional shrink, but that said someone was so quick to see the sadness and misery she felt inside being such a loner.

Nickel:

"Don't go calling him that. I can smell a Sardinski from a mile away. I refuse to give such a creature the respect of a preferred name."

Raspberry is a Mermaid by blood and as such, has a huge connection to the sea. As such, she doesnt necessarily like Nickel or his family thanks to their invasive cannery business. She seems weary of Nickel at all times, and is often the first one to put him and his jokes or ideas down like old yeller. Still, regardless of how she treats him, Nickel is always a gentleman to Raspberry herself, which ends up making her feel bad over time for how she treats him.

Mister Seltzer*:

Larry is relatively well meaning with everyone he befriends, Raspberry included. He initially offers her a drink on the house, but after refusing to the point she began to get upset with him asking her, he offered her a note asking if she preferred alcohol free beverages, since she was acting like he was pulling her teeth out when asked what alcohol she'd prefer.
She seems embarrassed by this and agrees, not seeming to want her friends to know thinking it would make her look uncool. Larry in turn introduces her to virgin Mai Thais, all juice and soda, no liquor. This goes on to be one of her favorite drinks.

Miss Honeydew*:

Raspberry has been a loyal customer of Happy Honeydew's for several years now, given that Teresa alwaysbhas exactly what you need in stock. Be it some Motor oil, rope, bombs, if Raspberry needs it, she sells it. Due to this prestablished relationship, Honeydew is already quite friendly with Raspberry, already knowing the real her so to speak.

After Raspberry befriends everyone, she is quick to become close to Teresa, seeing her as a big sister type.

Mephisto with Sin and Virtue*:

Having met on numerous occasions at Mephisto's REAL office in the Pitts-Purgh-atory after having a couple near death encounters, Raspberry finds Mephisto to be both a strange, eccentric dork and his kids to be snot nosed brats. However, she quickly changes her tune after going on various misadventures with him that begin to make her realize how much she takes life for granted and realizes she wants to do more than sit idly by in her room building robots and playing video games all day.

Overtime, Mephisto and Raspberry begin to develop romantic feelings for one another, and while Sin happily accepts her, Virtue and Raspberry occasionally butt heads with each other.

Sherry*:

"That's the fucking devil!? Hell is real!?"

Raspberry Tart comes from a devout family, and as such has a huge fear of the unholy. While on the surface ahe may act like a smug "trust the science not your silly religion" types, Raspberry has always held a belief in the supernatural, and the afterlife. Sherry's existence not only scares the shit out of her, but makes her wonder, if the Devil exists--if the afterlife exists...what else is out there? Surely all of spsce csnt be vast NOTHINGness...

Like most all Mortals, Sherry's power of seduction can easily sway Raspberry, as much as she wishes it didnt. However, given the Sherry can tske the form of anyone or anything you desire, its difficult for Raspberry to NOT be swayed by her biggest dating sim crush beckoning her...

Patrick*:

Patrick and Raspberry actually get slong quite well for a pair of social rejects who prefer quiet and normalcy. While Raspberry is a big gamer, Patrick is a big fan of Manga in secret, having started a collection back in his early days of college. Thenteoncan often be found discussing anime and manga together when everyone else is up to their own conversations.

Valentine*:

Similar to Patrick, Valentine actually openly enjoys talking about manga and her fsvorite ones, even if her tastes are a little less easy to digest than most others tastes.

Raspberry and Valentine both have a crush on the same female character in Raspberry's favorite dating sim series, who bares a stricking resemblance to Mikan Tsumiki from Danganronpa 2.

Maddie*:

Maddie and Raspberry seemingly habe little in common, what with one being a robotics genius and one being a tree hugging flower picker, but honestly? They both have a pretty strong connection to the environment. Raspberry despite wants the oceans to be left in peace and not overfished, and Maddie specifically lives in the Cedar Point Park to keep the forest safe from litterbugs and bad actors alike.

Upon Maddie slowly getting to know everyone, Raspberry cant help but feel some sort of connection to Maddie in some weird way. Not a bad feeling, mind you, but weird. Like thebfeeling you get when in line for a roller cosster and finally getting seated in weird.

At a Christmas party, Raspberry is gifted called Remora by Maddie numerous times, which ends up making Raspberry uncomfortable. The only person who knows her name is Diana, who would never tell maddie, and Raspberry would never tell anyone herself because she thinks it sounds too...fishy.

Hemlock*:

Raspberry has a strange desire to study Hemlock after their first encounter, as Raspberry noticed when no one else could thay after having come into physical contact with people, they grew incredibly violent and angry, as if something that was bubbling up inside them all day had come to a head. It was as if Hemlock had manipulated those people with their very emotions acting as puppet strings, and Raspberry simply MUST know whats going on with him.

Diana DARKO*:

"There's TWO of them!? I must be in hell..."

Raspberry, already finding one Diana to be enough for her life obviously isnt too crazy about DARKO's existence. Her being a lot more of a bad person than Diana doesn't really help, either. Its safe to say Raspberry finds DARKO's very existence to be a crime against nature, and much like her fear of Sherry, believes DARKO to be akin to a sort of demonic possession. Whenever DARKO comes oit, Raspberry is one of the only people she refuses to harm, which is saying alot, as not even Doodle, Cream or Honeydew are safe from taking some blows from the Evil knockoff.

Summerville, USA**: Raspberry Tart is rarely seen or heard around Summerville. In fact, most people simply know her as the reserved quiet girl who keeps to herself. And for the most part, Raspberry used to to prefer it that way. However, after slipping and having a near desth experience, Raspberry began to desire to feel aeen and heard, and has turned her hobby of robotics into a full on career in science and, more importantly to her, to be seen as a better Diana Dastardly. That is to say, she believes she can do anything DD does better, and is eager to show Diana who's boss.

Raspberry is well known to the Mermaids on Summerville's Beach. This is because before she married Suckerbeard, Thresha was a well known local to the area. She used to be quite popular with the sailors in the area.

Rum runner Cove*: a small warf area off the coast of Summerville pier. This area is home to several Mermaid and sea faring civilians alike, and this is where the Tarsalfins call home. Suckerbeard's ship acts as an extension to the family villa when its docked, though the house is still pretty roomy without it. Raspberry has a rather large room for her mschines and plushies alike, with everything neat and organized just thebway she likes it. She's embarrassed by it, but her roomnis incredibly girly, as Diana points out to her.

At the edge of the Cove is a Skull/Berry shaped coral building that Raspberry has converted into a lab for her robotics (AND where I plot Diana's Dastardly Demise!!)

APPEARANCE:

Body:

Raspberry stands around 165.1 cm tall, or Roughtly an even five foot five inches, only putting her a few inches taller than Diana. Starting with her pretty lil head, Raspberry has uh...Raspberry colored hair, spiked in some places naturally, like the sides of her head. The tuft of hair on the center of her head is actually a Shark fin made of hair, as she is part Mermaid. Raspberry's eyes are drawn black, but are more like a Mako Shark, where they have a small amount of White exposed when looking around.

Raspberry has an incredibly pale complexion compared to everyone else, on account of her not really going outside much. On both her cheeks and her shoulders, Raspberry has freckles. Her mouth is notable for her Shark teeth, which unlike some of the other characters who have sharp teeth to signify evil, Hers are because shes, again, part Mermaid. She has gills on the sides of her neck thst allow her to breathe underwater.

Like all Mermaids in Diana's world, Raspberry has a pearl in place of a bellybutton.

Clothing/Accessories:

Raspberry's outfit is supposed to be a visual parody of Diana's, though with a magician's motiff.

On her head she wears her prototype hat based off of Doodle: "Copy Cap", a Lavender colored Tophat that has a gray crown like ribbon on its rim with black dots on it. Inside the top of Copy Cap is a 1930s work whistle like in the big picture shows!

Her dress is a matching Lavender to her hat, thats form fitting with exposed shoulders and a Pearl Heart charm on her chest where Diana's D would be located.The cut of her dress has a matching pattern to her Hat, with matching crown and black dots. Around her waist is a purple bow acting as a belt. While not always shown, Raspberry wears Red and black frilled panties.

Raspberry wears purple tights on her legs that match her bow, as well as a pair of Heeled boots. Each boot also has two Heart shaped pearl charms fashioned on where Diana's buttons would be on her boots.

Raspberry wears Bubblegum pop pink Gloves with an x-eyed skull pattern on the knuckles. Her gloves also include button-on white magicians cuffs with gold cufflinks.

Emblem: Raspberry's emblem is a heart shaped berry sporting leaves that look like a sharks tail and dorsal fin that also has two pink bolts of lightning for eyes; next to it is two Bombs

Cherry Bombs: The cherry bombs are two conjoined Cherries. One is dark red and energetic, one is a lighter shade red and is stoic and unmoving.

Lemo-nade: Lemo-nade is a Lemon with a pointed nose and constant toothy grin. On its back is a Grenade pin.

Blue-Hoo: Blue-Hoo is a pudgy blueberry with a small, black head and leafy "hair". Blue-Hoo has giant eyes that constantly dribble out tears.

Fresca: Fresca is large strawberry with a Green head, Leafy "hair", and feminine eyes. Fresca has 18 black seed-like bombs all around its body.

Wall-ter Melon: Wall-ter Melon is a large Watermelon with a face similar to Bender from futurama. Wall-ter Melon has yellow eyes with cat like pupils, a toothy frown, and is ususally seen dribbling oil from its mouth. Wall-ter Melon has a large Antenna with a red bobble on the end.

Atomic Pineapple: Atom is a Radical Pineapple with Black sunglasses, small rack of abs, and big grin. Atom has a large wind up screw on his back.

Ever the robotic genius, Raspberry is capable of changing her moveset throughout the story by swapping moves out for others. This can be moves related to her cherry bombs, or Copy cat versions of any other team member. In short, Raspberry is the breathing definition of "Jack of all trades, master of none"

Berry Bombs:

Oh, these guys aren't home grown. They were made in a factory. A Bomb factory. They're BOMBS.

Raspberry, ever the tinkerer, created the Berry bombs as one of her many ideas to sell as a patent. However, Raspberry isnt exactly miss popular, and so she grew to be a bit sentimental with her explosive babies. Of course, not close enough to not use them for their intended function!

The Berry bombs work on a power scale. Like the others, Raspberry's fighting style has a caviat: her bombs have a shared and limited battery life. She can only use certain bombs if she gets her battery's charge up theough battling.

-The Cherry bombs are the weakest bomb. They will deal damage that's a 50/50 shot of being decently powerful, or pretty meager. Cherry bombs drain the battery by about 10% if successful, or 5% if a weak dud.

-Lemo-nade is an aim based bomb that acts similar to Cream's playstyle with her Buzz•Bombs. It deals a moderate amount of damage to the wnemy it lands closest to. Lemo-nade drains the battery by about 15%

-Blue-Hoo is an unpredictable bomb that can either be a dud that becomes a temporary shield, or deals massive damage in a miserably sad explosion. Raspberry must scare Blue-Hoo into action, and in very rare cases, It will blow up prematurely in Raspberry's face, dealing self damage. Blue-Hoo drains the batter by about 25%

-Fresca is a dancing strawberry that floats above Raspberry in the air. It flies over enemies and unleashes seed bombs that deal damage and leech HP off of enemies for Raspberry to recover. Fresca can be sacrificed in exchange for losing her healing seeds by dive bombing out of the sky. Fresca drains the battery by aboit 40%

-Wall-ter Melon functions like Walnuts/Tallnuts from Plsnts Vs Zombies. It sits by idly and drinks itself stupid on motor oil as it tsnks hits for Raspberry. Once it drops, its unavailable for the rest of a fight. Wall-ter Melon drains the battery by about 60%

-Atomic Pineapple is Raspberry's most powerful bomb. Its a one time use One hit KO bomb that drals massive damage to bosses and can wipe out any regular enemy in a heartbeat. Atom drains the battery by about 80%

When she runs out of bombs, Raspberry isn't afraid to resort to good old fashioned fisticuffs when all else fails. However, given her weak physique, Her fists can only do so much...

DESCRIPTION:

🫐: "*sniff* B-b-boss? M-Miss Diana sent Miss Cream Soda to come g-get you for an interview? *sniffle*"

"I don't care WHO Diana sends, I'm not coming out of my room for some stupid interview, and that's that! E-eh? The people...want to hear from me? N-nice try, but it you think flattery will get you anywhere...then maybe keep it up and see what happens! P-praise gets you a long way, you know!"

Heroes and Villains go hand in hand in any setting. Whether it be Mario and Bowser, Batman and Joker, preteen tumblr girls and Nagito Komaeda, the dynamic of good vs evil is a tale as old as time. However, lets not forget the goobers that grow along side the heroes throughout their story, the Rival. Often as important if not moreso than the antagonist most of the time. Mario has his Wario, Batman his Catwoman, and Nagito his Kokochi Ouma. That's where our fanged fishy friend comes into play.

Before Diana, Raspberry was just regular ol Remora Tarsalfin. As regular as the daughter of a Pirate and a Mer-shark can be. Remora was a relatively shy girl with a genius level iq and zero friends that weren't made online or in her head. Often, Remmie would spend her days tinkering away making small toy robots and or playing video games non stop, never really feeling like her life was going anywhere. Then, one day when out at Happy Honeydew's....

It happened

Diana and her natural tendency to cause utter chaos wherever she goes came through Happy Honeydew's being chased by flaming beast, which happened to be slammed into a pile of Bombs right next to an onlooking Remora. As she got csught up in the blast, she suffered a near death experience as she was blown to the floor, where she met the essentric but charming Mephisto Pheles in Pitts-Purgh-atory.

After taling her on a spiritual journey of sorts, Remora realized just how much she feltnlikenshe was missing out of life, and desired to see the world and have friends and truly find a place to belong. Upon looking through her life flashing before her eyes, Raspberry discovers some faded remains of her previous life, where she sees her and Diana as incredibly close, almost sister like friends. Seeing this, and realizing how often shes run into Diana causing some sort of wacky hijinks to ensue begins to make Raspberry feel like all her problems in life stem from her somehow not being in Diana's life: after all, shes seen them be friends before...right?

This very thought changes something fundamentally within her head, and after coming to, Raspberry vows to get Diana's attention by sny means necessary, becoming the Berry blasted Bombardier, Raspberry Tart! As Raspberry Tart, she wears her Magician's dress and Heeled boots in a vein attempt to rip on Diana's look, and has even gone so far as to create a Tophat that has a sliver of Doodle's fabric within it, causing it to be gateway into Hammerspace. However, despite Raspberry making a name for herself with her award winning robotics, Diana remains oblivious to Raspberry's existence at first, but overtime comes to really enjoy Raspberry's company.

Starting as her enemy, Raspberry eventually relinquishes all her negative feelings toward Diana when she makes the clsim thst the two are friends, something Raspberry has bever really made offline before, which ends up warming her heart to Diana quite a bit.

Raspberry has a relatively mean spirited attitude with people most of the time, as she isnt used to doing much social interaction. You can think of her as someone like Futaba Sakura, someone who's so used to their genius being unchallenged and ther socisl skils so dry the can't help but come off as prudish. However, as her walls are slowly torn down and she begins to truly feel more comfortable in her environment and becomes a much more true to herlself Raspberry, not just Diana's copy cat.

Raspberry is a homebody at heart, and so she is still living with her parents at home, who openly support her and her endeavors. Given how fragile a girl Remora has always been, her parents were a bit nervous at first, but when they saw just how happy being with Diana and her gsng made her, they welcomed this transition with open arms.

Raspberry's current science project and her personal favorite robots she's built so far are the Berry Bombs, a group of robots that are 1/3 berry, 1/3 bomb, 1/3 robot, all smashed together for a fruit flavored blast of nitroglycerin. Ever the artist of her craft, Raspberry has lovingly crafted every Berry bomb to have its own thoughts and feelings, as well as a neigh limitless batch if them being made and stored in her Copy Cap.

There's the Cherry bomb twins, a pair of literal cherry bombs. One is always energetic and ready to run, while the other is always stoic, grumpy, and unwilling to move on its own.

Next we have the mischievous Lemo-nade, a jester like Lemon Grenade who loves rushing headfirst into danger. Lemo-nade tends to giggle like beavis and butthead rather than actually speak.

Then we have Blue-Hoo, the Berry bomb with the most screen time. Having based its personality chip off of her personal crush from her favorite visual novel dating sim, Raspberry has a softer spot for Blue-Hoo than most. This walking wreck of a blue berry often sniffles and cries often, and becomes lsrger snd .ore lethal the more you yell at it. Blue-Hoo is often the one who accidentally triggers early and blows Raspberry up in a cloud of smoke, jam, and bruises.

We also have Fresca, the sweet, sassy dancing strawberry Bomb. Fresca is almost always seen dancing, and is capable of floating thanks to its leafy, propeller like hair. Fresca shoots its seeds out randomly, which act like mini C4s, and once detonated, they dig into an enemy and leech their life away, turning it into sweet, sweet battery life. Fresca speaks in a latina accent.

After that there's the Wall-ter Melon: A large Watermelon bomb that's built for tanking hits from the sturdiest of enemies. However, all that damage gets a Bomb thirsty, and so Wall-ter Melon can almost always be found chugging a bottle of motor oil. If it gets too drunk off the stuff, Wall-ter Melon will end uo passing out on the job, exposing his weak point and rendering it useless.

Lastly, she has her trump card, her show stopping tactical nuke of vitamin C: Atomic Pineapple, dubbed Atom. Atom is a radical cali-skater stereotype with a 6 pack, toned muscles, and a rad pair of shades they never remove. You may notice the wind-up key on Atom's back; neat, huh? Just get ready to run for the hills if it starts ticking. Once tiem runs out, Raspberry unleashes Atom to shred on her enemies before detonation, nuking any enemies in her way.

TRIVIA:

- Raspberry is heavily based off of Peridot from Steven Universe, from her Genius intellect, her inability to understand people's feelings at first, as well as her body relying on various Mechanical marvels to do her bidding as she's incredibly vulnerable herself.

-Raspberry is on the Autism spectrum, having Aspergers. This isn't really spelled out in the story of Diana Dastardly, though it explains a lot about her inability to connect to others until she really gets to know them, as well as her desire to stay primarily indoors and away from large clusters of people. Despite this diagnosis, Raspberry continues to keep her head held high and prides herself in her genius.

While Diana and the gang are a bit more crude and mean-spirited than some of my other OCs, Raspberry is never mocked or targeted by anyone due to her Aspergers. They make fun of her for various other things, however!

- Raspberry is incredibly good at Dancing, possibly on par with Cherry Cream. However, due to her more self depreciating and shy nature, she doesn't dance when others watch her, at first. Eventually throughout the story, The gang's lives are at stske and the only way to save them is if Raspberry dances, finally breaking her walls down as they cheer her on.

- [[SPOILERS]] In every Tooniverse, Raspberry and Diana are always the main characters. Be it two angst filled teen girls at an all girls academy who reap souls for a living, a world of chicken scratch scribble people, or a mirrored world where Everyone's gender is bent, Raspberry and Diana are always each other's best friend for life. The reason our Raspberry Tart is so anti-Diana at first is unknown to even her, but is eventually revealed to be [SPOILERS] Diantha's doing. Diantha loves Raspberry Tart amd views her as one of her masterpieces. In order to prevent her death in this timeline, Diantha gives up the last of her shred divinity and resorts to placing a spiritual "child lock" of sorts on Raspberry's soul to prevent her from desiring friendship with Diana (which of course, fails).

Raspberry's life in this timeline was heavily altered to fit Diana in, and is eventually revealed that Raspberry is the main character of this Tooniverse, whereas Diana sorta got photoshopped into this reality. As such, Rather than being an ordinary girl, Raspberry got the life she has now, and the entire world of Diana Dastardly is now thrown into a sorta perfect, cartoony chaos. [END SPOILERS]

'Raspberry's prized possession is a stuffed duckie named Doughy. Doughy is based on one of my old personal childhood plushies that i have since long lost, and so lives on through Raspberry. When on their Journey and at a rest area, Raspberry can occasionally be seen holding him lovingly before hiding him in her hat if someone looks her way.

-Raspberry Tart is, personally, my favorite character in Diana Dastardly, save maybe for Diana herself and miss Honeydew. Despite how often she becomes the butt of the joke, or gets into painful physical slapstick shenanigans, Raspberry will always get back onto her feet at the end of the day!

Not only is Raspberry my favorite character, she's also based on myself in some aspects, such as her easily sunburned skin, her various lethal allergies, and her Bad attitude but ultimately well meaning character.

-Outside of Diana, Raspberry is closest with Mephisto Pheles. Having had a near death experience or two where her soul got to his office in Pitts-Purgh-atory, she has had a solo adventure or two with the firey haired handsome devil. Throughout the story, [SPOILERS] Mephisto begins to finally learn to let go of Diantha and move on, and begins to hit it off with Raspberry, finding himself marveled by her intelligence and mechanical craftsmanship. At the end ofnthe story, when the world is saved, Raspberry and Mephisto canonically get together, and Raspberry sells some of her patents to a very impressed Shadowy Board of Shady Investors. [END SPOILERS].

Raspberry's name, Remora, is the name of a species of fish thst are known to cling to the underbelly of Sharks. Her mother admitted they named her Remora because when she was born, Raspberry would clamp down when feeding snd refuse to let go. This is one of the various reasons Remmie's embarrassed by her name.

Her last name, Tarsalfin, is a mishmash of Tarsal, a bone in your ankles, and fin, like fish fins. It literally means "Feet for fins", given her status as a land dwelling Mermaid, id say it fits quite well, no?

-Raspberry doesn't talk like a Pirate like her father, but when angry enough will shout out an "Arrrrgh!" In frustration, before catching and composing herself.

-Both Raspberry and her mother are based on Thresher Sharks. Of course, given her hybrid nature and lack of tail, its harder to notice on Raspberry. Ah, her Dorsal fin can also stand up like a Sharks! She just keeps it groomed and combed down. Despite this, its still very much noticeable to the naked eye.

-While the characters of Diana's world almost all wear gloves, Raspberry is one of the few characters we get to see with Nail polish on underneath on occasion. Raspberry wears midnight purple polish on her fingers and toes.

-Raspberry has an extensive video game collection and a love for old school jrpgs, dating sims and simulation games. Her parents secretly tell Diana about how greatful they are to her for being one of their daughter's first and only friends, as beforehand despite her genius, Raspberry would lock herself in her room and indulge in her gaming fantasies all alone. Ever since the day she discovered Diana, however, she began to toughen herself up and change herself for the better.

-Raspberry Tart, much like Diana, refuses to drink alcohol. Unlike Diana, however, there is no booze she is willing to partake in, no matter who makes them or how sweet they are. Despite this, Raspberry is a bit embarrassed by her abstinence in group settings, and so orders virgin Mai Thais and pretends they're just made so sweet you cant even taste the alcohol.

-Of all the characters in Diana's group of friends, Raspberry's parents are some of the best parent characters ive made. Diana's father, while he loves his daughter, was a rough and tough biker leader who raised Diana his way. Cream's parents are caring but also spoiled her rotten, Nickel's father is a ruthless business tycoon, as is Honeydew's dad...i can go on, but you get it.

Despite how wacky her family dynamic is, The Tarsalfin's are actually incredibly wholesome and down to earth.Thresha is a loving stay at home Mom-maid who does everything she can to support her daughter and her interests, often selling her own personal treasures she finds in the sea in order to monetarily support Raspberry's robotics costs. Her father, the Notorious Captain Suckerbeard, is Captain of a crew of Pirates. DVD Pirates. Yes, while still very illegal, Suckerbeard's crew make a much more honest living than the other very much real Pirates out in the oceans waters, and it seems to pay the bills rather well! Due to this job, he's never too busy for his Wife and precious little girl.

-Raspberry is canonically Bi-curious, having crushes on multiple characters all sround the world and blushing when cute boys and girls alike compliment her. Despite this, and despite Diana causing her to blush on occasion, and snd Diana are as platonic as Cream and Nickel. The two of them will always be there for one another, no matter what happens, and sometimes its okay for those sorta characters to not be shipped together 🙂‍↕️

Character "Themes":

So, ususally when drawing, i tend to play music that i feel best represents my character im drawing st the moment to feel further connected to them. It may sound silly, but it's one of my favorite ways to getting absorbed in my artwork. So, going forward, i will refer to these songs as a character's "Theme".

This song is a good representation of how Raspberry views herself in her hwad when first encountering Diana as a rival. Birdley's such a pretentious, stuck up little dweeb that you jusy wanna see him get his ass creamed in a fight, and that pretentiousness bleeds through into his character encounter theme.

While Razzy isn't nearly as insufferable as Birdley, his encounter theme totally encapsulates Raspberry's initial overzealousness.

Continuing with the Birdley simile, Raspberry is a "mini boss" fight Diana encounters about 3-4 times before finally befriending Raspberry. So of course, what song goes well with a smartass like Raspberry and her Robots? Smart race, duh.

This song is Remora's theme, not Raspberry. Asnin, thisnwould be how id describe how the original Remmie was. While she loves to act like shes better than everyone, Diana knows the real Razzy is a giant girly girl softy, and wouldn't trsde her for the world.

YOU CAN OPT OUT OF READING IT IF YOU'D LIKE TONWAIT TOL LATER]] Near the later-middle half of the story, Raspberry Tart is seemingly Killed by one of the Macguffins when Nothing makes itself known and the whole Tooniverse aspect come into play, Doodle gives up the ability he's had to 'reset' the Tooniverse with every failure they've had in the fight with Nothing. In exchange for his ability to reset life as they know it, Doodle revive Raspberry a chapter or so later in the fight that originally killed her.

Coming back, Remmie drops her Diana knock off shtick and has an anime-like wardrobe change, embracing her robotics loving side with her heritage, taking her father's costume and mother's shark features into account.From this point on she drops Raspberry Tart completely and embraces her true self, Remora Tarsalfin.[[END OF MAJOR SPOILER NOW]]

Diana Dastardly:

Diana is Raspberry Tart's arch nemesis, the yang to her yin, and must be dealt with at all costs! ...Why? Well, she wishes she could tell you herself, but even Raspberry's unsure. You ever just see a person and get thst deeling you dislike them before you even know them? Yeah, that would be a good way to place her feelings down into words. Raspberry simply despises everything about Diana's character, feeling SHE can do whatever it is Diana's doing better...whatever it is she does.

Initially, Diana seems unaware of Raspberry's existence, and when she does formally meet her, it takes her a few tries before she stops calling her Frazz larry...or Rats Mary...you get it.

Their relationship is a lot like late 2000s era SpongeBob and Squidward, where Diana likes Raspberry, and Raspberry begrudgingly begins to grow closer to Diana with time, even if she has to take a few potshots to the face to get there.

Overall throughout the story, Diana and Raspberry grow to becomd genuine besties who go through everything together--the end of the world covered in that whole everything clause!

Doodle: Raspberry finds Doodle to be akin to either a Scientific miracle, or a demonic creation. Having discovered the magical, backrooms like Hammerspace in one ofnher studies, Raspberry stubmbles out of Doodle and onto Raspberry's head, starting their first face to face encounter (Raspberry had been observing Diana from afar most of the time).

On numerous occasions, Raspberry has explored inside Doodle's Hammerspace in an attempt to understand his connection between Hammerspace and the space itself, as a universe where everything and anything you need is there at a moments notice would be Nobel prize winning. Despite Doodle's seeming disinterest in Raspberry or her Scientific endeavors, he enjoys her company, and since Diana likes her s lot, Doodle has no ill will towards her.

Cream:

Cream, being the motherly girl she is, is able to cut through Raspberry's persona like a hot knife through butter. As such, Whenever she senses Raspberry being smug or rude in an attempt to keep her distance from whom she considers "Diana's friends, not mine", Cream is usually quick to shut her down and, in a firm yet obviously well intentioned way, bresk through her wallas and get her to loosen up with the group bit by bit, getting her to accept that she isn't a friendless loner anymore.

This not only shocks Raspberry to her core that someone so "uneducated " could pick her apart like some professional shrink, but that said someone was so quick to see the sadness and misery she felt inside being such a loner.

Nickel:

"Don't go calling him that. I can smell a Sardinski from a mile away. I refuse to give such a creature the respect of a preferred name."

Raspberry is a Mermaid by blood and as such, has a huge connection to the sea. As such, she doesnt necessarily like Nickel or his family thanks to their invasive cannery business. She seems weary of Nickel at all times, and is often the first one to put him and his jokes or ideas down like old yeller. Still, regardless of how she treats him, Nickel is always a gentleman to Raspberry herself, which ends up making her feel bad over time for how she treats him.

Mister Seltzer*:

Larry is relatively well meaning with everyone he befriends, Raspberry included. He initially offers her a drink on the house, but after refusing to the point she began to get upset with him asking her, he offered her a note asking if she preferred alcohol free beverages, since she was acting like he was pulling her teeth out when asked what alcohol she'd prefer.
She seems embarrassed by this and agrees, not seeming to want her friends to know thinking it would make her look uncool. Larry in turn introduces her to virgin Mai Thais, all juice and soda, no liquor. This goes on to be one of her favorite drinks.

Miss Honeydew*:

Raspberry has been a loyal customer of Happy Honeydew's for several years now, given that Teresa alwaysbhas exactly what you need in stock. Be it some Motor oil, rope, bombs, if Raspberry needs it, she sells it. Due to this prestablished relationship, Honeydew is already quite friendly with Raspberry, already knowing the real her so to speak.

After Raspberry befriends everyone, she is quick to become close to Teresa, seeing her as a big sister type.

Mephisto with Sin and Virtue*:

Having met on numerous occasions at Mephisto's REAL office in the Pitts-Purgh-atory after having a couple near death encounters, Raspberry finds Mephisto to be both a strange, eccentric dork and his kids to be snot nosed brats. However, she quickly changes her tune after going on various misadventures with him that begin to make her realize how much she takes life for granted and realizes she wants to do more than sit idly by in her room building robots and playing video games all day.

Overtime, Mephisto and Raspberry begin to develop romantic feelings for one another, and while Sin happily accepts her, Virtue and Raspberry occasionally butt heads with each other.

Sherry*:

"That's the fucking devil!? Hell is real!?"

Raspberry Tart comes from a devout family, and as such has a huge fear of the unholy. While on the surface ahe may act like a smug "trust the science not your silly religion" types, Raspberry has always held a belief in the supernatural, and the afterlife. Sherry's existence not only scares the shit out of her, but makes her wonder, if the Devil exists--if the afterlife exists...what else is out there? Surely all of spsce csnt be vast NOTHINGness...

Like most all Mortals, Sherry's power of seduction can easily sway Raspberry, as much as she wishes it didnt. However, given the Sherry can tske the form of anyone or anything you desire, its difficult for Raspberry to NOT be swayed by her biggest dating sim crush beckoning her...

Patrick*:

Patrick and Raspberry actually get slong quite well for a pair of social rejects who prefer quiet and normalcy. While Raspberry is a big gamer, Patrick is a big fan of Manga in secret, having started a collection back in his early days of college. Thenteoncan often be found discussing anime and manga together when everyone else is up to their own conversations.

Valentine*:

Similar to Patrick, Valentine actually openly enjoys talking about manga and her fsvorite ones, even if her tastes are a little less easy to digest than most others tastes.

Raspberry and Valentine both have a crush on the same female character in Raspberry's favorite dating sim series, who bares a stricking resemblance to Mikan Tsumiki from Danganronpa 2.

Maddie*:

Maddie and Raspberry seemingly habe little in common, what with one being a robotics genius and one being a tree hugging flower picker, but honestly? They both have a pretty strong connection to the environment. Raspberry despite wants the oceans to be left in peace and not overfished, and Maddie specifically lives in the Cedar Point Park to keep the forest safe from litterbugs and bad actors alike.

Upon Maddie slowly getting to know everyone, Raspberry cant help but feel some sort of connection to Maddie in some weird way. Not a bad feeling, mind you, but weird. Like thebfeeling you get when in line for a roller cosster and finally getting seated in weird.

At a Christmas party, Raspberry is gifted called Remora by Maddie numerous times, which ends up making Raspberry uncomfortable. The only person who knows her name is Diana, who would never tell maddie, and Raspberry would never tell anyone herself because she thinks it sounds too...fishy.

Hemlock*:

Raspberry has a strange desire to study Hemlock after their first encounter, as Raspberry noticed when no one else could thay after having come into physical contact with people, they grew incredibly violent and angry, as if something that was bubbling up inside them all day had come to a head. It was as if Hemlock had manipulated those people with their very emotions acting as puppet strings, and Raspberry simply MUST know whats going on with him.

Diana DARKO*:

"There's TWO of them!? I must be in hell..."

Raspberry, already finding one Diana to be enough for her life obviously isnt too crazy about DARKO's existence. Her being a lot more of a bad person than Diana doesn't really help, either. Its safe to say Raspberry finds DARKO's very existence to be a crime against nature, and much like her fear of Sherry, believes DARKO to be akin to a sort of demonic possession. Whenever DARKO comes oit, Raspberry is one of the only people she refuses to harm, which is saying alot, as not even Doodle, Cream or Honeydew are safe from taking some blows from the Evil knockoff.

Summerville, USA**: Raspberry Tart is rarely seen or heard around Summerville. In fact, most people simply know her as the reserved quiet girl who keeps to herself. And for the most part, Raspberry used to to prefer it that way. However, after slipping and having a near desth experience, Raspberry began to desire to feel aeen and heard, and has turned her hobby of robotics into a full on career in science and, more importantly to her, to be seen as a better Diana Dastardly. That is to say, she believes she can do anything DD does better, and is eager to show Diana who's boss.

Raspberry is well known to the Mermaids on Summerville's Beach. This is because before she married Suckerbeard, Thresha was a well known local to the area. She used to be quite popular with the sailors in the area.

Rum runner Cove*: a small warf area off the coast of Summerville pier. This area is home to several Mermaid and sea faring civilians alike, and this is where the Tarsalfins call home. Suckerbeard's ship acts as an extension to the family villa when its docked, though the house is still pretty roomy without it. Raspberry has a rather large room for her mschines and plushies alike, with everything neat and organized just thebway she likes it. She's embarrassed by it, but her roomnis incredibly girly, as Diana points out to her.

At the edge of the Cove is a Skull/Berry shaped coral building that Raspberry has converted into a lab for her robotics (AND where I plot Diana's Dastardly Demise!!)

APPEARANCE:

Body:

Raspberry stands around 165.1 cm tall, or Roughtly an even five foot five inches, only putting her a few inches taller than Diana. Starting with her pretty lil head, Raspberry has uh...Raspberry colored hair, spiked in some places naturally, like the sides of her head. The tuft of hair on the center of her head is actually a Shark fin made of hair, as she is part Mermaid. Raspberry's eyes are drawn black, but are more like a Mako Shark, where they have a small amount of White exposed when looking around.

Raspberry has an incredibly pale complexion compared to everyone else, on account of her not really going outside much. On both her cheeks and her shoulders, Raspberry has freckles. Her mouth is notable for her Shark teeth, which unlike some of the other characters who have sharp teeth to signify evil, Hers are because shes, again, part Mermaid. She has gills on the sides of her neck thst allow her to breathe underwater.

Like all Mermaids in Diana's world, Raspberry has a pearl in place of a bellybutton.

Clothing/Accessories:

Raspberry's outfit is supposed to be a visual parody of Diana's, though with a magician's motiff.

On her head she wears her prototype hat based off of Doodle: "Copy Cap", a Lavender colored Tophat that has a gray crown like ribbon on its rim with black dots on it. Inside the top of Copy Cap is a 1930s work whistle like in the big picture shows!

Her dress is a matching Lavender to her hat, thats form fitting with exposed shoulders and a Pearl Heart charm on her chest where Diana's D would be located.The cut of her dress has a matching pattern to her Hat, with matching crown and black dots. Around her waist is a purple bow acting as a belt. While not always shown, Raspberry wears Red and black frilled panties.

Raspberry wears purple tights on her legs that match her bow, as well as a pair of Heeled boots. Each boot also has two Heart shaped pearl charms fashioned on where Diana's buttons would be on her boots.

Raspberry wears Bubblegum pop pink Gloves with an x-eyed skull pattern on the knuckles. Her gloves also include button-on white magicians cuffs with gold cufflinks.

Emblem: Raspberry's emblem is a heart shaped berry sporting leaves that look like a sharks tail and dorsal fin that also has two pink bolts of lightning for eyes; next to it is two Bombs

Cherry Bombs: The cherry bombs are two conjoined Cherries. One is dark red and energetic, one is a lighter shade red and is stoic and unmoving.

Lemo-nade: Lemo-nade is a Lemon with a pointed nose and constant toothy grin. On its back is a Grenade pin.

Blue-Hoo: Blue-Hoo is a pudgy blueberry with a small, black head and leafy "hair". Blue-Hoo has giant eyes that constantly dribble out tears.

Fresca: Fresca is large strawberry with a Green head, Leafy "hair", and feminine eyes. Fresca has 18 black seed-like bombs all around its body.

Wall-ter Melon: Wall-ter Melon is a large Watermelon with a face similar to Bender from futurama. Wall-ter Melon has yellow eyes with cat like pupils, a toothy frown, and is ususally seen dribbling oil from its mouth. Wall-ter Melon has a large Antenna with a red bobble on the end.

Atomic Pineapple: Atom is a Radical Pineapple with Black sunglasses, small rack of abs, and big grin. Atom has a large wind up screw on his back.

Adaptability🐙

Ever the robotic genius, Raspberry is capable of changing her moveset throughout the story by swapping moves out for others. This can be moves related to her cherry bombs, or Copy cat versions of any other team member. In short, Raspberry is the breathing definition of "Jack of all trades, master of none"

Berry Bombs:

Oh, these guys aren't home grown. They were made in a factory. A Bomb factory. They're BOMBS.

Raspberry, ever the tinkerer, created the Berry bombs as one of her many ideas to sell as a patent. However, Raspberry isnt exactly miss popular, and so she grew to be a bit sentimental with her explosive babies. Of course, not close enough to not use them for their intended function!

The Berry bombs work on a power scale. Like the others, Raspberry's fighting style has a caviat: her bombs have a shared and limited battery life. She can only use certain bombs if she gets her battery's charge up theough battling.

-The Cherry bombs are the weakest bomb. They will deal damage that's a 50/50 shot of being decently powerful, or pretty meager. Cherry bombs drain the battery by about 10% if successful, or 5% if a weak dud.

-Lemo-nade is an aim based bomb that acts similar to Cream's playstyle with her Buzz•Bombs. It deals a moderate amount of damage to the wnemy it lands closest to. Lemo-nade drains the battery by about 15%

-Blue-Hoo is an unpredictable bomb that can either be a dud that becomes a temporary shield, or deals massive damage in a miserably sad explosion. Raspberry must scare Blue-Hoo into action, and in very rare cases, It will blow up prematurely in Raspberry's face, dealing self damage. Blue-Hoo drains the batter by about 25%

-Fresca is a dancing strawberry that floats above Raspberry in the air. It flies over enemies and unleashes seed bombs that deal damage and leech HP off of enemies for Raspberry to recover. Fresca can be sacrificed in exchange for losing her healing seeds by dive bombing out of the sky. Fresca drains the battery by aboit 40%

-Wall-ter Melon functions like Walnuts/Tallnuts from Plsnts Vs Zombies. It sits by idly and drinks itself stupid on motor oil as it tsnks hits for Raspberry. Once it drops, its unavailable for the rest of a fight. Wall-ter Melon drains the battery by about 60%

-Atomic Pineapple is Raspberry's most powerful bomb. Its a one time use One hit KO bomb that drals massive damage to bosses and can wipe out any regular enemy in a heartbeat. Atom drains the battery by about 80%

"I don't care WHO Diana sends, I'm not coming out of my room for some stupid interview, and that's that! E-eh? The people...want to hear from me? N-nice try, but it you think flattery will get you anywhere...then maybe keep it up and see what happens! P-praise gets you a long way, you know!"

Heroes and Villains go hand in hand in any setting. Whether it be Mario and Bowser, Batman and Joker, preteen tumblr girls and Nagito Komaeda, the dynamic of good vs evil is a tale as old as time. However, lets not forget the goobers that grow along side the heroes throughout their story, the Rival. Often as important if not moreso than the antagonist most of the time. Mario has his Wario, Batman his Catwoman, and Nagito his Kokochi Ouma. That's where our fanged fishy friend comes into play.

Before Diana, Raspberry was just regular ol Remora Tarsalfin. As regular as the daughter of a Pirate and a Mer-shark can be. Remora was a relatively shy girl with a genius level iq and zero friends that weren't made online or in her head. Often, Remmie would spend her days tinkering away making small toy robots and or playing video games non stop, never really feeling like her life was going anywhere. Then, one day when out at Happy Honeydew's....

It happened

Diana and her natural tendency to cause utter chaos wherever she goes came through Happy Honeydew's being chased by flaming beast, which happened to be slammed into a pile of Bombs right next to an onlooking Remora. As she got csught up in the blast, she suffered a near death experience as she was blown to the floor, where she met the essentric but charming Mephisto Pheles in Pitts-Purgh-atory.

After taling her on a spiritual journey of sorts, Remora realized just how much she feltnlikenshe was missing out of life, and desired to see the world and have friends and truly find a place to belong. Upon looking through her life flashing before her eyes, Raspberry discovers some faded remains of her previous life, where she sees her and Diana as incredibly close, almost sister like friends. Seeing this, and realizing how often shes run into Diana causing some sort of wacky hijinks to ensue begins to make Raspberry feel like all her problems in life stem from her somehow not being in Diana's life: after all, shes seen them be friends before...right?

This very thought changes something fundamentally within her head, and after coming to, Raspberry vows to get Diana's attention by sny means necessary, becoming the Berry blasted Bombardier, Raspberry Tart! As Raspberry Tart, she wears her Magician's dress and Heeled boots in a vein attempt to rip on Diana's look, and has even gone so far as to create a Tophat that has a sliver of Doodle's fabric within it, causing it to be gateway into Hammerspace. However, despite Raspberry making a name for herself with her award winning robotics, Diana remains oblivious to Raspberry's existence at first, but overtime comes to really enjoy Raspberry's company.

Starting as her enemy, Raspberry eventually relinquishes all her negative feelings toward Diana when she makes the clsim thst the two are friends, something Raspberry has bever really made offline before, which ends up warming her heart to Diana quite a bit.

Raspberry has a relatively mean spirited attitude with people most of the time, as she isnt used to doing much social interaction. You can think of her as someone like Futaba Sakura, someone who's so used to their genius being unchallenged and ther socisl skils so dry the can't help but come off as prudish. However, as her walls are slowly torn down and she begins to truly feel more comfortable in her environment and becomes a much more true to herlself Raspberry, not just Diana's copy cat.

Raspberry is a homebody at heart, and so she is still living with her parents at home, who openly support her and her endeavors. Given how fragile a girl Remora has always been, her parents were a bit nervous at first, but when they saw just how happy being with Diana and her gsng made her, they welcomed this transition with open arms.

Raspberry's current science project and her personal favorite robots she's built so far are the Berry Bombs, a group of robots that are 1/3 berry, 1/3 bomb, 1/3 robot, all smashed together for a fruit flavored blast of nitroglycerin. Ever the artist of her craft, Raspberry has lovingly crafted every Berry bomb to have its own thoughts and feelings, as well as a neigh limitless batch if them being made and stored in her Copy Cap.

There's the Cherry bomb twins, a pair of literal cherry bombs. One is always energetic and ready to run, while the other is always stoic, grumpy, and unwilling to move on its own.

Next we have the mischievous Lemo-nade, a jester like Lemon Grenade who loves rushing headfirst into danger. Lemo-nade tends to giggle like beavis and butthead rather than actually speak.

Then we have Blue-Hoo, the Berry bomb with the most screen time. Having based its personality chip off of her personal crush from her favorite visual novel dating sim, Raspberry has a softer spot for Blue-Hoo than most. This walking wreck of a blue berry often sniffles and cries often, and becomes lsrger snd .ore lethal the more you yell at it. Blue-Hoo is often the one who accidentally triggers early and blows Raspberry up in a cloud of smoke, jam, and bruises.

We also have Fresca, the sweet, sassy dancing strawberry Bomb. Fresca is almost always seen dancing, and is capable of floating thanks to its leafy, propeller like hair. Fresca shoots its seeds out randomly, which act like mini C4s, and once detonated, they dig into an enemy and leech their life away, turning it into sweet, sweet battery life. Fresca speaks in a latina accent.

After that there's the Wall-ter Melon: A large Watermelon bomb that's built for tanking hits from the sturdiest of enemies. However, all that damage gets a Bomb thirsty, and so Wall-ter Melon can almost always be found chugging a bottle of motor oil. If it gets too drunk off the stuff, Wall-ter Melon will end uo passing out on the job, exposing his weak point and rendering it useless.

Lastly, she has her trump card, her show stopping tactical nuke of vitamin C: Atomic Pineapple, dubbed Atom. Atom is a radical cali-skater stereotype with a 6 pack, toned muscles, and a rad pair of shades they never remove. You may notice the wind-up key on Atom's back; neat, huh? Just get ready to run for the hills if it starts ticking. Once tiem runs out, Raspberry unleashes Atom to shred on her enemies before detonation, nuking any enemies in her way.

TRIVIA:

- Raspberry is heavily based off of Peridot from Steven Universe, from her Genius intellect, her inability to understand people's feelings at first, as well as her body relying on various Mechanical marvels to do her bidding as she's incredibly vulnerable herself.

-Raspberry is on the Autism spectrum, having Aspergers. This isn't really spelled out in the story of Diana Dastardly, though it explains a lot about her inability to connect to others until she really gets to know them, as well as her desire to stay primarily indoors and away from large clusters of people. Despite this diagnosis, Raspberry continues to keep her head held high and prides herself in her genius.

While Diana and the gang are a bit more crude and mean-spirited than some of my other OCs, Raspberry is never mocked or targeted by anyone due to her Aspergers. They make fun of her for various other things, however!

- Raspberry is incredibly good at Dancing, possibly on par with Cherry Cream. However, due to her more self depreciating and shy nature, she doesn't dance when others watch her, at first. Eventually throughout the story, The gang's lives are at stske and the only way to save them is if Raspberry dances, finally breaking her walls down as they cheer her on.

- [[SPOILERS]] In every Tooniverse, Raspberry and Diana are always the main characters. Be it two angst filled teen girls at an all girls academy who reap souls for a living, a world of chicken scratch scribble people, or a mirrored world where Everyone's gender is bent, Raspberry and Diana are always each other's best friend for life. The reason our Raspberry Tart is so anti-Diana at first is unknown to even her, but is eventually revealed to be [SPOILERS] Diantha's doing. Diantha loves Raspberry Tart amd views her as one of her masterpieces. In order to prevent her death in this timeline, Diantha gives up the last of her shred divinity and resorts to placing a spiritual "child lock" of sorts on Raspberry's soul to prevent her from desiring friendship with Diana (which of course, fails).

Raspberry's life in this timeline was heavily altered to fit Diana in, and is eventually revealed that Raspberry is the main character of this Tooniverse, whereas Diana sorta got photoshopped into this reality. As such, Rather than being an ordinary girl, Raspberry got the life she has now, and the entire world of Diana Dastardly is now thrown into a sorta perfect, cartoony chaos. [END SPOILERS]

'Raspberry's prized possession is a stuffed duckie named Doughy. Doughy is based on one of my old personal childhood plushies that i have since long lost, and so lives on through Raspberry. When on their Journey and at a rest area, Raspberry can occasionally be seen holding him lovingly before hiding him in her hat if someone looks her way.

-Raspberry Tart is, personally, my favorite character in Diana Dastardly, save maybe for Diana herself and miss Honeydew. Despite how often she becomes the butt of the joke, or gets into painful physical slapstick shenanigans, Raspberry will always get back onto her feet at the end of the day!

Not only is Raspberry my favorite character, she's also based on myself in some aspects, such as her easily sunburned skin, her various lethal allergies, and her Bad attitude but ultimately well meaning character.

-Outside of Diana, Raspberry is closest with Mephisto Pheles. Having had a near death experience or two where her soul got to his office in Pitts-Purgh-atory, she has had a solo adventure or two with the firey haired handsome devil. Throughout the story, [SPOILERS] Mephisto begins to finally learn to let go of Diantha and move on, and begins to hit it off with Raspberry, finding himself marveled by her intelligence and mechanical craftsmanship. At the end ofnthe story, when the world is saved, Raspberry and Mephisto canonically get together, and Raspberry sells some of her patents to a very impressed Shadowy Board of Shady Investors. [END SPOILERS].

Raspberry's name, Remora, is the name of a species of fish thst are known to cling to the underbelly of Sharks. Her mother admitted they named her Remora because when she was born, Raspberry would clamp down when feeding snd refuse to let go. This is one of the various reasons Remmie's embarrassed by her name.

Her last name, Tarsalfin, is a mishmash of Tarsal, a bone in your ankles, and fin, like fish fins. It literally means "Feet for fins", given her status as a land dwelling Mermaid, id say it fits quite well, no?

-Raspberry doesn't talk like a Pirate like her father, but when angry enough will shout out an "Arrrrgh!" In frustration, before catching and composing herself.

-Both Raspberry and her mother are based on Thresher Sharks. Of course, given her hybrid nature and lack of tail, its harder to notice on Raspberry. Ah, her Dorsal fin can also stand up like a Sharks! She just keeps it groomed and combed down. Despite this, its still very much noticeable to the naked eye.

-While the characters of Diana's world almost all wear gloves, Raspberry is one of the few characters we get to see with Nail polish on underneath on occasion. Raspberry wears midnight purple polish on her fingers and toes.

-Raspberry has an extensive video game collection and a love for old school jrpgs, dating sims and simulation games. Her parents secretly tell Diana about how greatful they are to her for being one of their daughter's first and only friends, as beforehand despite her genius, Raspberry would lock herself in her room and indulge in her gaming fantasies all alone. Ever since the day she discovered Diana, however, she began to toughen herself up and change herself for the better.

-Raspberry Tart, much like Diana, refuses to drink alcohol. Unlike Diana, however, there is no booze she is willing to partake in, no matter who makes them or how sweet they are. Despite this, Raspberry is a bit embarrassed by her abstinence in group settings, and so orders virgin Mai Thais and pretends they're just made so sweet you cant even taste the alcohol.

-Of all the characters in Diana's group of friends, Raspberry's parents are some of the best parent characters ive made. Diana's father, while he loves his daughter, was a rough and tough biker leader who raised Diana his way. Cream's parents are caring but also spoiled her rotten, Nickel's father is a ruthless business tycoon, as is Honeydew's dad...i can go on, but you get it.

Despite how wacky her family dynamic is, The Tarsalfin's are actually incredibly wholesome and down to earth.Thresha is a loving stay at home Mom-maid who does everything she can to support her daughter and her interests, often selling her own personal treasures she finds in the sea in order to monetarily support Raspberry's robotics costs. Her father, the Notorious Captain Suckerbeard, is Captain of a crew of Pirates. DVD Pirates. Yes, while still very illegal, Suckerbeard's crew make a much more honest living than the other very much real Pirates out in the oceans waters, and it seems to pay the bills rather well! Due to this job, he's never too busy for his Wife and precious little girl.

-Raspberry is canonically Bi-curious, having crushes on multiple characters all sround the world and blushing when cute boys and girls alike compliment her. Despite this, and despite Diana causing her to blush on occasion, and snd Diana are as platonic as Cream and Nickel. The two of them will always be there for one another, no matter what happens, and sometimes its okay for those sorta characters to not be shipped together 🙂‍↕️

So, ususally when drawing, i tend to play music that i feel best represents my character im drawing st the moment to feel further connected to them. It may sound silly, but it's one of my favorite ways to getting absorbed in my artwork. So, going forward, i will refer to these songs as a character's "Theme".

Raspberry's themes would be the following:

This song is a good representation of how Raspberry views herself in her hwad when first encountering Diana as a rival. Birdley's such a pretentious, stuck up little dweeb that you jusy wanna see him get his ass creamed in a fight, and that pretentiousness bleeds through into his character encounter theme.

While Razzy isn't nearly as insufferable as Birdley, his encounter theme totally encapsulates Raspberry's initial overzealousness.

Continuing with the Birdley simile, Raspberry is a "mini boss" fight Diana encounters about 3-4 times before finally befriending Raspberry. So of course, what song goes well with a smartass like Raspberry and her Robots? Smart race, duh.

This song is Remora's theme, not Raspberry. Asnin, thisnwould be how id describe how the original Remmie was. Shy, reserved, listening to music about love instesd if experiencing it, and of course, surround by all things cute. While she loves to act like shes better than everyone, Diana knows the real Razzy is a giant girly girl softy, and wouldn't trsde her for the world.

So [[MAJOR SPOILER STUFF HERE. YOU CAN OPT OUT OF READING IT IF YOU'D LIKE TONWAIT TOL LATER]] Near the later-middle half of the story, Raspberry Tart is seemingly Killed by one of the Macguffins when Nothing makes itself known and the whole Tooniverse aspect come into play, Doodle gives up the ability he's had to 'reset' the Tooniverse with every failure they've had in the fight with Nothing. In exchange for his ability to reset life as they know it, Doodle revive Raspberry a chapter or so later in the fight that originally killed her.

Coming back, Remmie drops her Diana knock off shtick and has an anime-like wardrobe change, embracing her robotics loving side with her heritage, taking her father's costume and mother's shark features into account.From this point on she drops Raspberry Tart completely and embraces her true self, Remora Tarsalfin.[[END OF MAJOR SPOILER NOW]]

When i think of Raspberry, there are teo i primarily think of often. Peridot from Steven Universe is how i initially thought of her voice sounding when i created her. However, over the years I've begun to like to think of someone like Laura Jill Miller, known for someone like Libby from Molly Mcgee or Juniper Lee. Personally, i cant tell which i prefer!
